Two generous guest bedrooms are a study in freshness. Both wallpapered in signature designs, the picture is completed with colourful bed coverings, plantation shutters, and a cosy, welcoming feel provided by floor rugs, the ample array of fun cushions on the beds with lampshades mixing and matching.

This home was inspired by Balinese architecture to extent that the roof and floor tiles were imported from Indonesia, and the special ceiling fans in the vaulted ceiling are made of rattan. The living room offers an enticing glimpse of the master bedroom, and draws your eye. Access to the bedroom is accessed by a covered corridor planted either side in tropical vegetation. The master bedroom is a juxtaposition of contemporary and traditonal, and pieces were gathered and placed from existing furniture and accessories from the clients extensive travels, and newly specified pieces. The bedroom theme was developed from a Mokum fabric that has bananas and palm leaves - very Balinese. Donna chose a limited palette of colour and added further interest and intrique by mixing sheen levels, and by layering pattern and texture.

The Decor, inspired by the theme of a 'Cabinet of Curiosities’, is dedicated to nature. Just as the interior of these fully-furnished Safari Tents makes reference to geology, exploration and collections of rare fossils and stones found locally; so to does the colour notes of our Antinium Lampshade. The interior theme is further reinforced by a rustic black, rich brown and glossy metallic colour palette, interlaced with intricate animal patterns. The Botanical Bedroom The bedroom is a masterclass in classic English country elegance, designed to be a serene, nature-inspired retreat. Feature Walls: A striking floor-to-ceiling botanical mural anchors the space, complemented by textured green wallpaper that echoes the natural landscape. Elegant Furnishings: A cream-upholstered bed with curved edges and dark wood trim takes center stage, paired with an antique style dark wood dresser and a matching vanity desk featuring elegant cabriole legs. Soft Ambient Lighting: A classic brass chandelier and traditional table lamps with pleated shades cast a warm, inviting glow, enhancing the room's cosy, timeless atmosphere. The Bold En-Suite Bathroom Connected to the bedroom, this en-suite offers a dramatic and luxurious contrast with bold geometric patterns and vintage inspired hardware. Striking Tile work: High-contrast, black-and-white marble tiles are arranged in a classic checkerboard pattern on the walls, creating an unforgettable, graphic backdrop. Vintage Hardware: Antique brass crosshead taps, shower controls, and traditional wall sconces with fluted glass shades bring a touch of historic, lived-in charm. Sophisticated Details: An arched, black-framed mirror and a sleek dark vanity ground the space, while vertical glazed subway tiles in the shower enclosure add a subtle wash of colour and glossy texture. The Industrial Office & Gym A complete departure from the suite, this dynamic dual-purpose room balances a focused workspace with a private, highly stylised fitness area. Architectural Elements: A contemporary open-tread staircase with steel stringers sets a modern industrial tone, paired perfectly with dark, richly grained herringbone wood flooring and textured plaster-effect walls: micro-cement technique and material. Vintage Leather & Steel: The space is heavily accented with warm, aged leather pieces including an executive desk chair, an inviting lounge chair, and a classic heavy punching bag. Functional Design: An open metal-and-wood industrial shelving unit acts as a clever, permeable room divider, seamlessly separating the rustic wooden desk area from the gym zone, which comes complete with wooden stall bars and dedicated workout mats. The Result: A highly personalised home that boldly celebrates contrasting design aesthetics, delivering both restful, classic elegance and inspiring, industrial functionality.
