romero + obeji interior designThis reading loft features a vibrant 20' high custom nature themed mural. The extra tall custom bookcase designed by Hector Romero Design offers flexible storage with walnut drawers and cabinets for home office use and the contrasting, contrasting, movable display boxes are perfect for highlighting art and accessories. An 80's vintage floor lamp is functional for reading and adds a very hip element to the room. A custom collectors cabinet was also designed by the team and built in - it is completely lit from within and features fabric lined pull out shelves and drawers to display the client's collection of crystals and minerals. Hamilburg InteriorsWe met the design challenge of creating one large family-friendly space from the original front and back parlors of this 18th century Federal farmhouse, while still achieving a multi-purpose library/music room.
The Farrow and Ball color Stiff key blue helped to unite the 2 spaces. Painting walls and woodwork alike in the space gave it optimum unity. The Old World Weaver's blue cotton damask, fabricated on both sofa and love seat, was positioned in a way that gave additional harmony to the room.
Somewhat unexpected in this traditional home was the use of the caramel colored wilton area rug as well as the custom wrapped linen coffee table. The playful Brunschwig & Fils chinoserie animal print also gave the club chair next to the book cases a less formal look.

JTID Inc.The den which initially served as an office was converted into a television room. It doubles as a quiet reading nook. It faces into an interior courtyard, therefore, the light is generally dim, which was ideal for a media room. The small-scale furniture is grouped over an area rug which features an oversized arabesque-like design. The soft pleated shade pendant fixture provides a soft glow. Some of the client’s existing art collection is displayed.
