Positioned at the base of Camelback Mountain this hacienda is muy caliente! Designed for dear friends from New York, this home was carefully extracted from the Mrs’ mind. She had a clear vision for a modern hacienda. Mirroring the clients, this house is both bold and colorful. The central focus was hospitality, outdoor living, and soaking up the amazing views. Full of amazing destinations connected with a curving circulation gallery, this hacienda includes water features, game rooms, nooks, and crannies all adorned with texture and color. This house has a bold identity and a warm embrace. It was a joy to design for these long-time friends, and we wish them many happy years at Hacienda Del Sueño. Many people are given items from their family that they want to display but don't understand how. This family enjoys tea. Having the ability to refresh a cup of tea next to a conversation area makes family time never want to end. Photography by: Elizabeth Harbuck

Antique & Art ExchangeAntique & Art Exchange
This family room was done by Scheiber Design Group for the project of "Antiques in the Modern Design". Here Daen mixes an 18th century English drop leaf table with a pair of antique South American doors. Over the table hangs an original Motherwell print in a wood frame. The sofa in a casual linen gives warmth to the room accentuated by the metal coffee table and the suede covered modern armchair.
