We are very proud of this project, as it was a full-home, very involved renovation process and included full-service decorating for the entire home. The house was originally had a mountain lodge feel. We stripped that look and brought in a classic American welcoming vibe for the main living areas, and more or a sleek, contemporary look for the master suite. All bathrooms had their own new appeal, representing the taste of each family member.

Reclaimed wood and steel accents give this master bedroom fireplace a contemporary urban feel.

This massive master bedroom had enough floor space to accommodate a seating area at one end of the room and a walk-through closet at the other (behind the wallpapered wall) The gas fireplace was chosen for ambience, not as a heat generator, since this IS meant to be a place for romance!

Walking down the stairs will lead you to the master bedroom which features floor to ceiling custom cabinets at the bed wall, deep drawers below the platform wall, and custom closet with sliding doors. Access to all of the cabinets was a must, even at the tippy top, so we designed a library ladder that could be used on the closet or bed side, with a central resting place between the windows when not in use. The overall aesthetic is warm, clean and minimal, with white cabinets, stained European white oak floors, and matte black hardware. Luxurious modern take on a traditional white Italian villa. An entry with a silver domed ceiling, painted moldings in patterns on the walls and mosaic marble flooring create a luxe foyer. Into the formal living room, cool polished Crema Marfil marble tiles contrast with honed carved limestone fireplaces throughout the home, including the outdoor loggia. Ceilings are coffered with white painted crown moldings and beams, or planked, and the dining room has a mirrored ceiling. Bathrooms are white marble tiles and counters, with dark rich wood stains or white painted. The hallway leading into the master bedroom is designed with barrel vaulted ceilings and arched paneled wood stained doors. The master bath and vestibule floor is covered with a carpet of patterned mosaic marbles, and the interior doors to the large walk in master closets are made with leaded glass to let in the light. The master bedroom has dark walnut planked flooring, and a white painted fireplace surround with a white marble hearth. The kitchen features white marbles and white ceramic tile backsplash, white painted cabinetry and a dark stained island with carved molding legs. Next to the kitchen, the bar in the family room has terra cotta colored marble on the backsplash and counter over dark walnut cabinets.
