Un progetto che fonde materiali e colori naturali ad una vista ed una location cittadina, un mix di natura ed urbano, due realtà spesso in contrasto ma che trovano un equilibrio in questo luogo. Jungle perchè abbiamo volutamente inserito le piante come protagoniste del progetto. Un verde che non solo è ecosostenibile, ma ha poca manutenzione e non crea problematiche funzionali. Le troviamo non solo nei vasi, ma abbiamo creato una sorta di bosco verticale che riempie lo spazio oltre ad avere funzione estetica. In netto contrasto a tutto questo verde, troviamo uno stile a tratti “Minimal Chic” unito ad un “Industrial”. Li potete riconoscere nell’utilizzo del tessuto per divanetti e sedute, che però hanno una struttura metallica tubolari, in tinta Champagne Semilucido. Grande attenzione per la privacy, che è stata ricavata creando delle vere e proprie barriere di verde tra i tavoli. Questo progetto infatti ha come obiettivo quello di creare uno spazio rilassante all’interno del caos di una città, una location dove potersi rilassare dopo una giornata di intenso lavoro con una spettacolare vista sulla città.

Private Residence

Ideal for extensive entertaining and comfortable everyday living, we designed an open floor plan that offered easy flow between the living room, bar, dining space and kitchen. Multiple horizontal and vertical offsets created visual interest on all four elevations while custom-built light fixtures produced sleek task lighting in work areas without sacrificing style. To create additional texture and character, we utilized transitional architecture by uses massing, materials, and lines found in the Hill Country in new ways with architectural limestone blocks, rough chopped Texas limestone, and stucco with metal reveals. Particular consideration was given to the views visible from bedrooms as well as always achieving cross-lighting to capture as much natural light as possible, as seen in the master bath where both windows in the wet room light the space throughout the day. We also featured aluminum clad wood window package, an anodized aluminum window wall in the living room, and a custom design steel and glass entry door.

The “Rustic Classic” is a 17,000 square foot custom home built for a special client, a famous musician who wanted a home befitting a rockstar. This Langley, B.C. home has every detail you would want on a custom build. For this home, every room was completed with the highest level of detail and craftsmanship; even though this residence was a huge undertaking, we didn’t take any shortcuts. From the marble counters to the tasteful use of stone walls, we selected each material carefully to create a luxurious, livable environment. The windows were sized and placed to allow for a bright interior, yet they also cultivate a sense of privacy and intimacy within the residence. Large doors and entryways, combined with high ceilings, create an abundance of space. The owners engaged us to conduct a full house renovation to bring this historic stone mansion back to its former glory. One of the highest priorities was updating the main floor’s more public spaces which serve as the diplomat's primary representation areas where special events are hosted. Worn wall-to-wall carpet was removed revealing original oak hardwood floors that were sanded and refinished with an Early American stain. Great attention to detail was given to the selection, customization and installation of new drapes, carpets and runners all of which had to complement the home’s existing antique furniture. The striking red runner gives new life to the grand hall and winding staircase and makes quite an impression upon entering the property. New ceilings, medallions, chandeliers and a fresh coat of paint elevate the spaces to their fullest potential. This project is a piece of heaven made from plain sliced white oak with a matte lacquer finish. We dressed the main bar with a fluted facade, distressed green lacquer finish, and then we attached a brass toe kick. The Back bar blend with a floor to ceiling arched wall paneling.
