Woodstock FurnitureOur client lives close to Hampstead Village in north London in a house built to their specifications around 18 years ago. The style is a fusion of Nash meeting Cape Cod, combining clever use of brick and clapboard with one annexe. They wanted a bright, classic-contemporary, countrified kitchen, which would blend seamlessly with their living room with views onto the garden.
The room was extended backwards and a huge, glass roof was introduced with a clever choice of colours and finishes, bringing what had previously been a dark, narrow area to life.
We made this timeless design by using plain, front-framed units with Shaker-style doors, which were hand-painted in a bespoke, sage colour we prepared ourselves. A tambour door was put in next to the sink run which is perfect for housing everyday appliances like the kettle and toaster – keeping the runs of work surfaces clear while allowing easy access when they are needed.
Direct Source MTA beautiful lake home with an out-dated kitchen gets a make over. Custom inset Shaker cabinetry keeps the classic feel of this home. The custom island features two spice pull outs, an induction cook top, a small prep sink, and plenty of seating. The white granite top plays off of the two-tone kitchen. The perimeter of the kitchen is painted white with an espresso glaze and the green granite top mimics the color of the lake seen out of the large windows. The refrigerator and dishwasher are built-in and concealed behind cabinet doors. The cabinetry is anchored by new saltillo tile.

At apx 17,000 square feet the exterior of the home boasts beautiful hand selected stone quarry material, custom blended slate roofing with pre aged copper rain gutters and downspouts. Every inch of the exterior one finds intricate timeless details. As one enters the main foyer a grand marble staircase welcomes them, while an ornate metal with gold-leaf laced railing outlines the staircase. A high performance chef’s kitchen waits at one wing while separate living quarters are down the other. A private elevator in the heart of the home serves as a second means of arriving from floor to floor. The properties vanishing edge pool serves its viewer with breathtaking views while a pool house with separate guest quarters are just feet away. Nous avons également travaillé sur l’ergonomie de la pièce, en rehaussant par exemple, le lave-vaisselle pour un chargement plus aisé.
Une multitude d’éléments donnent du cachet à la cuisine. C’est le cas du casier de bouteilles sur mesure, du four 90cm Neff et de sa plaque gaz 5 feux.
Mes clients se sont très bien installés dans ce bel espace et sont très satisfaits du résultat.

Mike RaskinWe were thrilled to be able to do a complete renovation on this property built in the 1700's! One of the oldest houses in Newton. The photos posted are before, during and *almost* complete stages of the kitchen. We did a total of 5 bathrooms, 4 bedrooms, Nanny suite, and all other living spaces.

Bilotta Kitchen & HomeBilotta senior designer, Paula Greer, teamed up with architect, Robin Zahn to design this large gourmet kitchen for a family that does a lot of entertaining and cooking. While the wife was the decision maker for the overall aesthetics, the functionality of the space was driven by the husband, the aspiring chef. He had specific requests on how he wanted his “work area” set up. The team designed a cooking area featuring a 48” range across from a prep sink surrounded by 10 feet of work space. All the cooking essentials are at arm’s length – spice pull-out; interior knife block; baskets for root vegetables; cooking utensil drawers; and even a stainless-steel shelf above the range to keep plates warm before serving. Further down, away from the “chef”, is the “clean-up” area with a larger sink and the dishwasher. The microwave and the refrigerators/freezers are also at this opposite end, keeping the rest of the family out of his space when he’s cooking. This was his #1 request. The wet bar, just off of the kitchen, also houses a beverage unit and the coffee maker which keeps people out of the way during prep time. The kitchen was part of a larger addition which allowed them to incorporate the high ceiling, opening up the space to make room for the 6 feet worth of refrigeration and the large 10-foot island that works simultaneously for prep and eating. The Artistic Tile mosaic backsplash, where possible, starts at the countertop and continues all the way up to the molding at the ceiling emphasizing the height of the space, and the size of the room, even more.
Chalkhouse KitchensThe owners opened up two smaller rooms to create a beautifully spacious kitchen and family area. A feature island painted in soft Farrow and Ball Pigeon to match the kitchen provides plenty of workspace along with a casual seating area. A soft neutral F&B Shaded White was used on the matching dresser and tall bank of units to compliment the kitchen but add interest and some contrast. A matching window seat and bespoke oak table pick up the tones and creates a comfortable seating area for family meals. A full size larder gives ample storage and with the matching fridge and freezer either side keeps all the food neatly in one area.photos by felix page
