A blue shag rug adds a nice pop of color in this neutral space. Blue tones are found throughout the room to add dimension.
Just the Thing Decorating, Staging, and Windows
This wonderful client was keeping their New Hampshire home, but was relocating for 2 years to Texas for work. Before the family arrived, I was tasked with furnishing the whole house so the children feel "at home" when they arrived.
Using a unified color scheme, I procured and coordinated the essentials for an on time, and on budget, and on trend delivery!

Making Room for Peace
When it came to the mantel we kept it fairly simple, opting for a round, rattan mirror, some greenery, glass bottles, and vintage books. The overall effect is calming, coastal and timeless.
JL Interiors
This contemporary space was designed for first time home owners. In this space they wanted to add a focal point storage/bar area in their family room. You will also see the guest bathroom and kitchen. Lighter colors & tall windows make a small space look larger. Wainscoting adds height, making the ceilings look higher.

Refresh Renovations Auckland West
It takes a special kind of client to embrace the eclectic design style. Eclecticism is an approach to design that combines elements from various periods, styles, and sources. It involves the deliberate mixing and matching of different aesthetics to create a unique and visually interesting space. Eclectic design celebrates the diversity of influences and allows for the expression of personal taste and creativity.
The client a window dresser in her former life her own bold ideas right from the start, like the wallpaper for the kitchen splashback.
The kitchen used to be in what is now the sitting area and was moved into the former dining space. Creating a large Kitchen with a large bench style table coming off it combines the spaces and allowed for steel tube elements in combination with stainless and timber benchtops. Combining materials adds depth and visual interest. The playful and unexpected elements like the elephant wallpaper in the kitchen create a lively and engaging environment.
The swapping of the spaces created an open layout with seamless integration to the adjacent living area. The prominent focal point of this kitchen is the island.
All the spaces allowed the client the freedom to experiment and showcase her personal style.
Home Detailing
This property was on several acres of land and the large windows brought the outside in...I wanted the accessories to mirror this as well.

First Up Renos
Seriously cool... This room was dank and dark and the homeowners didn't even use it! We like the industrial look of the exposed ductwork but we needed to brighten the space so it got a coat of white paint when we did the ceiling. The show stopper of course is that fireplace! We used Benjamin Moore - Gentleman's Gray (which is not gray at all!) but a rich deep turquoise and it makes the 1970's brick fireplace a stand out.
