The shelves on the entertainment center have seedy class on the doors to hide the TV components. Funny how the flash on the camera makes the doors look much more see through than they are. Photos by Aimee Fritzges

Warm wood tones from the built-in bookcase and hardwood floors in addition to the wood burning fireplace make this Family Room a haven for togetherness.

Decorative Philosophy
This 1964 home was renovated after the Sandy Storm hit. The owner had a specific budget so the design stayed within that budget and was kept very simple. Fortunately, much of the original furniture was saved by the family. The home looks much as it did pre storm but with wonderful new chair rail, bead board paneling and a variety of paint finishes.
Sherrie Lynn Harries
This basement was raised three feet. large windows were added. two colors were placed on the walls. A warm yellow above the chair rail and a tree color textured wall below. This created a nice contrast with the decadent chocolate brown of the sofa and other furnishings. This is a relaxing luxurious space in which to watch TV and entertain friends.
