A. Bollman & Sons.
This custom cottage designed and built by Aaron Bollman is nestled in the Saugerties, NY. Situated in virgin forest at the foot of the Catskill mountains overlooking a babling brook, this hand crafted home both charms and relaxes the senses.

A view with the client’s existing 48″ Wolf rangetop and stainless hood. This stove was on the wall opposite and I wanted to give it some prominence and some breathing room.

The Renowned Group
The high-rise condo owner wanted a moody modern feel throughout. This kitchen did not benefit from natural light but with natural materials and the open flow, we were able to create a clean but moody feel with the contrast of black cabinets and a light quartzite for counters and backsplash.
After opening the walls between the living, dining, and kitchen we decided to raise and level the ceilings for a continuous lofty feel.
The Kitchen redesign also included a hidden stackable custom laundry cabinet, which allowed for the addition of the Ensuite Guest Bath.

Clean cut, modern, and magnificent!
Rochon custom made black flat panel cabinets and center island set the tone for this open and airy contemporary kitchen and great room. The island lights add a touch of whimsical . The kitchen also features an extra large Frigidaire refrigerator and freezer and wall oven.

This home was worn out from family life and lacked the natural lighting the homeowners had desired for years. Removing the wall between the kitchen and dining room let the light pour in, and transformed the kitchen into an entertaining delight with seating/dining spaces at both ends.
The breeze colored island stone backsplash tile (Pental Surfaces) is low maintenance and long-wearing, and pairs perfectly against the stained cherry contemporary cabinetry (Decor Cabinets). Quartz countertops were installed on the surround (Caesarstone) and island (a charcoal color with a suede finish was selected for the island to cut down on glare - Siletsone by Cosentino). Chilewich woven fabric applied to the back of the island adds durability and interest to a high-traffic area. The elevated, locally sourced Madrone bar (Sustainable NW Woods) at the end of the island—under a stunning "ribbon" pendant (Elan Lighting)—is a perfect spot to sip Sauvignon.

The kitchen's footprint did not change much; other than the Black Magma granite peninsula overhang. Note how the kneewall to the right is wrapped and painted to match its counterpart supporting the peninsula. The handle-less, counter-depth Samsung fridge is a sleek and functional feature.
Amy Pearson Design
Relocating to Portland, Oregon from California, this young family immediately hired Amy to redesign their newly purchased home to better fit their needs. The project included updating the kitchen, hall bath, and adding an en suite to their master bedroom. Removing a wall between the kitchen and dining allowed for additional counter space and storage along with improved traffic flow and increased natural light to the heart of the home. This galley style kitchen is focused on efficiency and functionality through custom cabinets with a pantry boasting drawer storage topped with quartz slab for durability, pull-out storage accessories throughout, deep drawers, and a quartz topped coffee bar/ buffet facing the dining area. The master bath and hall bath were born out of a single bath and a closet. While modest in size, the bathrooms are filled with functionality and colorful design elements. Durable hex shaped porcelain tiles compliment the blue vanities topped with white quartz countertops. The shower and tub are both tiled in handmade ceramic tiles, bringing much needed texture and movement of light to the space. The hall bath is outfitted with a toe-kick pull-out step for the family’s youngest member!
