The planting includes a feature olive tree planted into a square of Euonymus Silver Queen, the large evergreen foliage of Fatsia japonica and the strap leaves of Carex Pendula in the shady cornera small Maple; Acer dissectum forms a low mound on the far side of the garden. In the foreground is Teucrium, the blue spikes of Ajuga reptans 'Catlins Giant' in spring and the white flowers of Geranium sylvaticum.
