An unused area of lawn has been repurposed as a meditation garden. The meandering path of limestone step stones weaves through a birch grove. The matrix planting of carex grasses is interspersed with flowering natives throughout the season. Fall is spectacular with the blooming of aromatic asters.

Packed with all the modern amenities fitting any family’s lifestyle, this dreamy Modern Farmhouse plan lays out a stunning exterior with classic board and batten, a plethora of windows, a stone perimeter skirt, and three attractive covered porches.

The exterior face lift included Hardie board siding and MiraTEC trim, decorative metal railing on the porch, landscaping and a custom mailbox. The concrete paver driveway completes this beautiful project.

Behind the Tea House is a traditional Japanese raked garden. After much research we used bagged poultry grit in the raked garden. It had the perfect texture for raking. Gray granite cobbles and fashionettes were used for the border. A custom designed bamboo fence encloses the rear yard.

This fountain is a great addition to a front yard entry. Clean and simple with a subtle water noise for visual and auditory interest. The fountain is surrounded by boxwood hedges, Mexican Beach cobble, and white precast concrete.

Centred around an expansive raised grass area, this residential garden has been designed to showcase the sweeping views of Perth’s skyline. A fire pit flanked by raised recycled brick seating walls anchors the southern end of the garden, creating a perfect spot for entertaining. Rows of mature olive trees help to define the edges of the space and set the tone for the plant palette. Plants have been selected primarily for their foliage colour creating visual interest throughout the year.
