French country styling is expressed here with the rustic plaster hood, muted colors and mullioned glass doors. The bountiful harvest mural and deco tiles (hand-painted in France with a crackle glaze!) are the epitome of country -- further accented by the faux window painting and yellow flower garland. (The faux window is hiding an oddly placed electronic controls.)

A large transitional l-shaped kitchen design in Wayne, NJ, with white shaker cabinets, and a dark island. This kitchen also has a farmhouse sink, quartz countertops, green subway tile backsplash, designer appliances and black countertops.

The kitchen island has pull up stools and drop in sink with overhead glass light fixture. Three seasons of the year the wall of windows pocket back to a single panel and the deck becomes an addition dining space. Overlooking the leafy yard a few steps down, the easy access outdoors creates a lovely room for outdoor dining and entertaining.

Nandina Home & Design
A mid-sized transitional open-concept house that impresses with its warm, neutral color palette combined with splashes of purple, green, and blue hues.
An eat-in kitchen given visual boundaries and elegant materials serves as a welcome replacement for a classic dining room with a round, wooden table paired with sage green wooden and upholstered dining chairs, and large, glass centerpieces, and a chandelier.
The kitchen is clean and elegant with shaker cabinets, pendant lighting, a large island, and light-colored granite countertops to match the light-colored flooring.
Project designed by Atlanta interior design firm, Nandina Home & Design. Their Sandy Springs home decor showroom and design studio also serve Midtown, Buckhead, and outside the perimeter.

A canary yellow glass 'canopy' ceiling which continues down to counter level as a backsplash, acts as a bright yet intimate foil to the adjacent double-height living room. It also houses services including the extractor and perimeter lighting.
The hobs are located on one side of the island unit, which provides counter seating for six. Full-height cabinets and appliances, including a walk-in larder, are discreetly located to one side.
