Hallway Design Ideas

Dark blue hallway. An opening was created between the entrance and sitting-room to brighten the area.

Limestone flooring was installed with a stunning mural along the whole length of the wall and panelling below. New stain glass windows for the door and furniture and lighting sourced.

Window seat with storage. 2 large drawers on ball bearing full extension runners and 2 cupboards. Doors hung in "reverse" to traditional to allow access to large array of sockets on left wall.

Manuel Pinilla acomete la reforma integral de una vivienda en el barrio sevillano de Nervión. Se trata de una casa pareada de los años 60 del arquitecto Ricardo Espiau con ciertos rasgos regionalistas que se han mantenido a pesar de las intervenciones que ha sufrido con el tiempo, incluyendo un anexo añadido al fondo de la parcela.

In the entrance hall we designed bespoke full-height storage cupboards with attractive panelling and integrated bench seat. We chose an earthy colour to match the natural limestone flooring, with printed cushions and aged Oushak rug lending to the warm, welcoming feel. Photographer: Nick Smith

Glass sliding doors and bridge that connects the master bedroom and ensuite with front of house. Doors fully open to reconnect the courtyard and a water feature has been built to give the bridge a floating effect from side angles. LED strip lighting has been embedded into the timber tiles to light the space at night.
