A hallway was notched out of the large master bedroom suite space, connecting all three rooms in the suite. Since there were no closets in the bedroom, spacious "his and hers" closets were added to the hallway. A crystal chandelier continues the elegance and echoes the crystal chandeliers in the bathroom and bedroom.

Concealed door to basement with applied mlding across it, with laundry chute in hallway square panel
Barnett Design Build utilized space from small existing closets to create room for a second floor laundry area in the upper stair hall, which can be concealed by a sliding barn door when not in use. The door adds interest and contemporary style in what might otherwise be a long, unadorned wall. Construction by MACSContracting of Bloomfield, NJ. Smart home technology by Total Home. A once dark and enclosed narrow hallway was opened up. Soffits were added to the cement ceiling to accommodate the recessed lighting which creates a lighted path for way finding. The kitchen island in the foreground, complete with wine refrigerator and drawer microwave, was previously closed in by a full wall. The purple passion wall continues around the corner from the living room, strikingly enhancing the artist's original work and delineating the open area
between the kitchen and the hallway.
The owner chose a circle door style which became a strong design feature throughout the house.
