This gorgeous custom home bar and wine cellar combination resides in sunny Costa Mesa, Orange County, California. The beauty and uniqueness of this project reminds us of a restaurant - sleek and clean, and dressed to the nines with one of a kind display features. The wine cellar holds over 500 bottles horizontally in triple deep black metal wine racking from floor to ceiling. Coupled with the clean lines of a dark stainless steel and glass enclosure makes a truly stunning addition to this home and entertainment area. Small glass wine cellar design can be tricky. A mosaic black and cream tile rug with the nick name ROOTS for the lodges name, Tangled Root Lodge hides behind the bar as another special surprise.

Clearly the centerpiece of this entertaining home, we worked with DRRL builder, and EST EST design to come up with this one of a kind bar concept that includes stainless steel finished cabinets on the base bar, back lit onyx on the countertop which was also waterfall down the back of the bar. To top it off we added a custom built walnut seating area for the bar top. Behind the bar are the custom walnut cabinets with Elements stainless steel glass doors. Also in this photo you can see the custom walnut wine storage wall we built with custom stain matched walnut to match the cabinetry throughout the home. We integrated clean floating glass shelves to really make this design pop. There's no question this is truly a one-of-a-kind piece.

This room, off of the kitchen, houses chilled wines as well as equipment and accessories for making a perfect cup of coffee. This room is a great place to start and end the day.

A home office was converted into a full service sports bar. A large temperature controlled wine cellar is the backdrop. Walls are covered in brick arches and herringbone, while floors are soft tile pavers. This room has space to seat 20. It has three televisions, a refrigerated wine room, a fireplace and even a secret door. The ceiling tiles are authentic stamped tin. Behind the counter are taps for two kegs, soda machine, custom ice makers, glass chillers and a full professional service bar.
