A standard approach to kitchen design was not an option for this glamorous open-plan living area. Instead, an intricate bar sits front of house, with attractive and practical kitchen space tucked in behind.

Our designers also included a small column of built-in shelving on the side of the cabinetry in the kitchen, facing the dining room, creating the perfect spot for our clients to display decorative trinkets. This little detail adds visual interest to the coffee station while providing our clients with an area they can customize year-round. The glass-front upper cabinets also act as a customizable display case, as we included LED backlighting on the inside – perfect for coffee cups, wine glasses, or decorative glassware. Our Long Island studio used a bright, neutral palette to create a cohesive ambiance in this beautiful lower level designed for play and entertainment. We used wallpapers, tiles, rugs, wooden accents, soft furnishings, and creative lighting to make it a fun, livable, sophisticated entertainment space for the whole family. The multifunctional space has a golf simulator and pool table, a wine room and home bar, and televisions at every site line, making it THE favorite hangout spot in this home. ---Project designed by Long Island interior design studio Annette Jaffe Interiors. This vibrant scullery is adjacent to the kitchen through a cased opening, and functions as a perfect spot for additional storage, wine storage, a coffee station, and much more. Pike choose a large wall of open bookcase style shelving to cover one wall and be a great spot to store fine china, bar ware, cookbooks, etc. However, it would be very simple to add some cabinet doors if desired by the homeowner with the way these were designed. Take note of the cabinet from wine fridge near the center of this photo, and to the left of it is actually a cabinet front dishwasher. The original Family Room was half the size with heavy dark woodwork everywhere. A major refresh was in order to lighten, brighten, and expand. The custom cabinetry drawings for this addition were a beast to finish, but the attention to detail paid off in spades. One of the first decor items we selected was the wallpaper in the Butler’s Pantry. The green in the trees offset the white in a fresh whimsical way while still feeling classic. Cincinnati area home addition and remodel focusing on the addition of a Butler’s Pantry and the expansion of an existing Family Room. The Interior Design scope included custom cabinetry and custom built-in design and drawings, custom fireplace design and drawings, fireplace marble selection, Butler’s Pantry countertop selection and cut drawings, backsplash tile design, plumbing selections, and hardware and shelving detailed selections. The decor scope included custom window treatments, furniture, rugs, lighting, wallpaper, and accessories.

The allure of this kitchen begins with the carefully selected palette of Matt Lacquer painted Gin & Tonic and Tuscan Rose. Creating an inviting atmosphere, these warm hues perfectly reflect the light to accentuate the kitchen’s aesthetics. But it doesn't stop there. The walnut slatted feature doors have been perfectly crafted to add depth and character to the space. Intricate patterns within the slats create a sense of movement, inviting the eye to explore the artistry embedded within them and elevating the kitchen to new heights of sophistication. Prepare to be enthralled by the pièce de résistance—the Royal Calacatta Gold quartz worktop. Exuding luxury, with its radiant golden veining cascading across a pristine white backdrop, not only does it serve as a functional workspace, it makes a sophisticated statement. Combining quality materials and finishes via thoughtful design, this kitchen allows our client to enjoy a space which is both aesthetically pleasing and extremely functional.
