This is the clients favorite den after we transformed the "spare room" into a cozy reading / tv room. Custom cabinets and shelving provide storage for books and media equipment. A hand-knotted Nepalise wool and silk rug, an upholstered bench with a removable sliding tray and a comfortable sofa makes for a room she spends most of her time in. A red accent wall and modern art gives the room some "zip".
Media Rooms Inc
Rich burgundy fabrics and elaborate gold trim accents comprise this classic art deco home theater located in southeastern Pennsylvania. Media Rooms worked very closely with our client to design, fabricate, install the décor, install the audio video, and bring our client’s dream to reality. There was an unused, unfinished section of the home’s lower level. Media Rooms framed and drywalled the space, designed the interior and fabricated the décor elements (columns, moldings, proscenium, back bar) in our in-house cabinet shop. The motorized reclining chairs, supplied by Media Rooms, are covered with a custom fabric. One of the many unique features in this room is the proscenium (wall that contains the screen and surrounding décor) which is built a couple feet off the wall. By moving the curtains on the left or right sides of the screen, the homeowner can access house mechanicals that are attached to the wall behind the screen. The room has a 4K laser video projector, a nine speaker Dolby Atmos sound system (all the speakers are hidden) and two subwoofers.

Media Room
This small media alcove actually seats up to ten people – kids on the floor – and everyone can see just fine. You don’t need an enormous TV monitor dominating the living room conversation area when in the media alcove, you’re already close enough to see the fine print. This is the definition of cozy.

Contemporary Home Media Room Breckenridge
This is a photo of a small and cozy media room. The whole home had motorized shades added, remote control thermostat installed and home media custom cabinetry put into place.
Bronson Home Improvements, LLC
A converted home theater in a client's finished basement. All hand made fluted maple columns, stands, cafe table and base trim. The columsn were decorative, as well as to hide steel support columns. The maple stands provided accent as well as support for part of the theater sound system. Recessed and pendant lights added with dimmable switches.
Caveman Home Theaters
The project required an acoustic wall treatment to be installed to the front and rear of the media room to eliminate excess echo bouncing off the hard surfaces. We installed a JVC projector and a Black Diamond Film Screen. The dogs came with the house.
