Another entertaining highlight is the 6’ x 7’ spillover spa which is conveniently located beside the pergola lounge area and fireplace. When not in use, the spa looks like a sheet of glass with water gently flowing over the Cascade stone ledges.

This home gym has everything you'd ever need for a complete workout. And when you're finished exercising, hit the court for a game of hoops. This SwimEx 1000 S swim spa pool is an above ground pool. The owners added metal skirting and a deck around the pool to house their exercise equipment. The beauty of SwimEx pool construction is that these swim spas are self-supporting. All you need is a level slab and you're good to go. Notice the different workout zones in this particular pool. There's a deep well for non-weight bearing exercises, a 99-speed water current on one side of the pool and an integrated treadmill. These smart owners know the benefits of running in the water. Now they are able to run both in and out of the water for ultimate cardio workouts.

Despite the billion-dollar views, premium homes are scant atop the Palisades. When the designer set out to create the perfect Palisades aerie, complete with a private pool, it proved to be quiet the undertaking. This property is situated just behind the cliff's edge with fantastic views, but equally as many challenges. After nearly three years of arduous renovations and improvements, it's now a sophisticated retreat with modern, industrial finishes throughout. Without a doubt, the crowning achievement of this spectacular renovation is the 10 foot by 12 foot stainless steel pool and hot tub situated on the roof.

The aesthetic theme of the backyard is modern urban rustic which complements the renovated rear façade of the traditional home. The Ipe hardwood deck which ended at the pergola was extended so the deck runs the full length of the pool.
AquaTerra Outdoors
The minimalistic design of the pool compliments the basic shape of the house. Close attention was paid to the details of the pool and surrounding deck.
