Stage two of this project was to renovate the upstairs bathrooms which consisted of main bathroom, powder room, ensuite and walk in robe. A feature wall of hand made subways laid vertically and navy and grey floors harmonise with the downstairs theme. We have achieved a calming space whilst maintaining functionality and much needed storage space.

A large window of edged glass brings in diffused light without sacrificing privacy. Two tall medicine cabinets hover in front are actually hung from the header. Long skylight directly above the counter fills the room with natural light. The client wanted a moody and monochromatic powder room with a lot of personality. We recommended the focal point tiles on the floor, added warmth with a gorgeous, black and wood vanity and topped that off with Matte black porcelain integrated sink and counter. The photography and accessories bring it all together and really pop with the dramatic black painted walls.

Bathrom design

Although the Kids Bathroom was reduced in size by a few feet to add additional space in the Master Bathroom, you would never suspect it! Because of the new layout and design selections, it now feels even larger than before. We chose light colors for the walls, flooring, cabinetry, and tiles, as well as a large mirror to reflect more light. A custom linen closet with pull-out drawers and frosted glass elevates the design while remaining functional for this family. For a space created to work for a teenage boy, teen girl, and pre-teen girl, we showcase that you don’t need to sacrifice great design for functionality!

The clients enlisted our Project Management services for the interior design and implementation of this renovation. We wanted to create a calming space and create the illusion of a bigger bathroom.
