Teenage girls bedroom

A fun and playful bedroom designed for this beautiful Victorian home, with a strong emphasis on colour, form and a place to play. I designed this clever bunk bed put together using two IKEA Kura beds, adding a ladder on storage at one end, a rope net and panelling. To decorate the room the floor was replaced with engineered wood boards, and I commissioned a mural artist to paint the rainbow around the floor. To complete the room the ceiling was wallpapered with a band of paint framing this at the top of the room.

Pour ce projet au cœur du 6ème arrondissement de Lyon, nos clients avaient besoin de plus d’espace et souhaitaient réunir 2 appartements. L’équipe d’EcoConfiance a intégralement mis à nu l’un des deux appartements afin de créer deux belles suites pour les enfants, composées chacune d’une chambre et d’une salle de bain. La disposition des espaces, ainsi que chaque pièce et les menuiseries ont été dessinées par Marlène Reynard, notre architecte partenaire. La plupart des menuiseries ont été réalisées sur mesure (bureau, dressing, lit…) pour un résultat magnifique. This fun and colourful kid’s bedroom opts for an interactive, safe and playful space. The room uses splashes of reds and yellows with swathes of white to offset the glowing colour palette. The fun room includes playful furniture and an assortment of toys to keep the children occupied. Photography by Ephraim Muller.

Bedroom makeover. The existing wardrobe was painted in a soft beige-pink shade from Farrow & Ball and four shelves were replaced for an oak finish. The new wallpaper used on two walls was also installed at the back of the bookcase area.

Colourful playroom / office / cinema room used by the whole family.

Il mobile di questa cameretta è stato realizzato su misura per poter sfruttare tutto lo spazio possibile. Sulla sinistra le scale che portano al letto sono dei cassetti di diverse lunghezze per sfruttare la profondità. Nella parte sotto sono state previste delle mensole e un vano rettangolare scorrevole con ripiani per appoggiare i giochi. in fututo si possono inserire altri vani con ripiani e bastoni e trasformare il sotto del letto in un avera e propria cabina armadio. Il letto ha un materasso ergonimico specifico per la crescita dei bambini poggiato su una rete tradizionale. Sono state inoltre incastrati 2 moduli in plexiglass per garantire la sicurezza del bambino mentre dorme. Essendo semplicemente avvitati possono essere tolti un domani o sostituiti. La testata del letto ha una luce led incassata e delle mensole per poggiare libri e giochi. Le pareti sono state colorate da sticker.
