An apron front sink has a distinct look because of its exposed front-facing side. It is a large sink that is fit into the counter top with the front edge of the sink being exposed. Also known as farm sinks, apron front sinks were designed to be added to a space cut out of the kitchen counter.

This rustic kitchen remodel helps accent existing structural features of the house. Medium wood cabinets help accent exposed beams, with stainless steel and wood-dressed appliances. A mosaic backsplash adds a touch of whimsy to granite countertops, atop hardwood floors.

The client was recently widowed and had been wanting to remodel her kitchen for a long time. Although the floor plan of the space remained the same, the kitchen received a major makeover in terms of aesthetic and function to fit the style and needs of the client and her small dog in this water front residence.
A spice pull out cabinet was installed next to the over for convenience.
