Design Tech RemodelingThe homeowner's had a small, non functional kitchen. With their desire to think outside of the box we were able to knock down a structural wall between the kitchen and dining room to give them a large island and a more functional kitchen. To keep costs down we left the sink in the existing location under the window. We provided them with a large pantry cabinet to replace their closet. In the dining room area we flanked the window with a window seat and a storage space for them to put shoes when coming in from the garage. This more open concept kitchen provides the homeowner's with a great entertaining space for their large family gatherings.

Braswell Design+BuildThe colors of the Best Tile Tozen Strontium glass tile (Natural Gray) backsplash, the Monte Bello granite countertop, and the Benjamin Moore Wythe walls provide a pleasing, soft contrast to the Maple Wood White Cabinets from Decora. Inside lighting in the glass panel cabinets illuminate a collection of dishes. The existing pine floors were refinished and stained to match the oak floors in the rest of the home.

Robin Rigby Fisher, CMKBD/CAPS/CLIPPSA small kitchen needs to be designed by being cognizant of every kitchen item the client owns and when the kitchen is only 90 sq ft, this can be quite challenging!
The original kitchen housed a double wall oven, cook top and 36” range. Since space was at a minimum and the client’s list for appliances was extensive (range, warming drawer, wine refrigerator, dishwasher, ref) we had to think quite creatively. We also had 2 doors to contend with and 2 focal points to create!
The first step was to move to a 27” wide refrigerator, this gained 9 additional inches of working counter space between the sink and refrigerator. Opting for a 24” wide single bowl sink over the original 30” netted a total of 15” for a tray divider cabinet and 39” of working counter space between the sink and the refrigerator!
The new 30” range was positioned as star on the same wall as the existing cook top. Since the space did not lend us the ability to balance the cabinet doors sizes on both sides of the hood, we chose a door style that focused your eyes not on the overall size of the door, but on the vertical detailing. The subtle grain of the Rift White Oak further minimized the odd sizing of the doors.

To help create a visual width of the room – we used a glass tile set in a horizontal pattern. Our ultimate goal for this space was to create a calm and flowing space, all appliances are fully integrated to enhance the visual flow to the room.

Beck Builders, Inc.This kitchen has white oak floors with a clear coat seal and natural cherry cabinets. Perimeter granite is black and island granite is Tortuga. Cabinet door style is Trenton from Great Northern Cabinetry. The upper cabinets are Gothic style mullions with seedy glass insert. Lakeview Interior DesignThis large granite (yes, granite) island is perfect for entertaining and daily use - centered with a gorgeous Kohler farmhouse sink and faucet. The glass arabesque tile is a main feature in this beautiful white T&G kitchen. Other features include an small office and butler's pantry off the kitchen.

Brothers Services CompanyIf you've never felt or seen leathered granite, it is a beautiful textured piece that accents any space you use it in. With all it's variation, it is an eye catcher and is sure to start conversation when guests come over.
DANIELLE Interior Design & DecorAccenting the teal glass backsplash tile is the cozy window seat with a colorful vibrant diamond pattern. In Small spaces you need to maximize every inch. In this space a custom bench seat was made to not only cozy up and read a book but also to use as storage for bigger beach items like umbrellas and an additional air mattress! A reading light and plug were added to the wall for additional light while reading and a place to change your phone while in use. The layered patterned pillows add fun and excitement to the small corner space. With a touch of beach decor the small studio apartment does not become overwhelmed with clique items.
