The kitchen is as minimalist as the rest of the house. A metal mesh curtain provides a subtle division between work and living areas. The curtain is retractable and stores out of the way in a wall pocket when not is use.

GD Arredamenti
GD Arredamenti teams up with Colonnade Group and architect Morris Adjmi for a new boutique residential development located in the Tribeca West Historic District, New York. The gracious interiors, design by Stefano Pasqualetti, and the layouts of these apartments provide for a quiet respite from city life and elegant entertaining; Velvet Elite walnut kitchen collection was used in a combination of frosted white glass with black aluminum frame and both walnut veneer and 3-layer solid Walnut (for the Penthouse only). In addition, beautiful marbles from Italy enrich the whole apartments; accordingly top of the line appliances from Miele and Subzero-Wolf makes these kitchens highly functional and yet beautiful.
Master bathrooms and powder rooms, elegantly clad in custom etched Carrara marble, were also designed with the use of natural materials; such as custom built washbasins in Piasentina stone and Serena stone, all manufactured by GD Arredamenti. Vanities and medicine cabinets have been fully custom-made for this project.

Dinastia Master Builders
Two different architectural styles have come together with this project, and enhances the marriage between traditional and modern design.
From the front of the home Californian Bungalow, it’s a feeling of charm and tradition. Although once you step into the hallway, there’s a transition from charming to contemporary.
The owners have successfully created a stunningly modern white cube addition connected to the existing traditional bungalow by a glass, concrete and steel suspending bridge.
The interior architectural qualities include a double height void, sculptural steel stair, two-storey sandstone wall and model train room requested by the train engineer client.
This renovation is a celebration of tradition and contemporary design.

Polycor
Fitch’s kitchen backsplash features Polycor’s 1 cm Ultra-Thin White Cherokee marble slabs as the main focal point. Fitch worked with the architects at Bercy Chen Studio and Austin-based Empire Fabricators to design and install a bookmatched backsplash and thin profile countertop using that ultra thin stone in a honed finish. The project was also completed in large part with Latera Architectural Surfaces who were instrumental in making it a great success. Photo credits: Andrea Calo.
