Clean, contemporary white oak slab cabinets with a white Chroma Crystal White countertop. Cabinets are set off with sleek stainless steel handles. The appliances are also stainless steel. The diswasher is Bosch, the refridgerator is a Kenmore professional built-in, stainless steel. The hood is stainless and glass from Futuro, Venice model. The double oven is stainless steel from LG. The stainless wine cooler is Uline. the stainless steel built-in microwave is form GE. The irridescent glass back splash that sets off the floating bar cabinet and surrounds window is Vihara Irridescent 1 x 4 glass in Puka. Perfect for entertaining. The floors are Italian ceramic planks that look like hardwood in a driftwood color. Simply gorgeous. Lighting is recessed and kept to a minimum to maintain the crisp clean look the client was striving for. The kitchen is so often the heart of the home, but add a large island unit as a central focus and this is a room that becomes the hub of all the action, from breakfast and lunch to dinner and beyond. That’s why CRL Quartz Sahara was the surface of choice for this busy family kitchen, where the large, open-plan space takes on a multi-functional role within the home. With the homeowners keen to include an island complete with breakfast bar within the room’s design as the perfect spot for food prep, home working, dining and socialising, designers Coton Interiors recommended a trip to Intamarble in Staffordshire. Here the family could see first-hand the array of CRL Quartz surfaces available, selecting Sahara as the perfect fit for their décor plans. Sahara has an earthy base colour, complemented with a subtle grey veining, along with lighter grey and white flecks giving it a sense of character and warmth. The neutral colourway makes it ideal for combining with darker and bolder colours elsewhere to create a contemporary two-tone effect. Chosen for the worktops and wall cladding, Sahara matches the kitchen’s colour palette perfectly. Delivered in one piece, the cladding is seam-free with no need for grout lines even over large areas. In the finished open-plan kitchen and dining area, guests are greeted by a bar area complete with wine cooler perfect for entertaining at home. A glass display unit and full wall cladding with CRL Quartz sits between the cupboards, while on the left-hand side a large bank of units solves the family’s storage dilemmas and creates a streamlined impression. Turn the corner to find the island unit, measuring an impressive 2.4m long. Complete with seating area and a modern sbox plug and charging port, this is a multi-functional surface intended for use for cooking, dining, working and relaxing As a stain, heat and scratch resistant surface CRL Quartz is highly durable and simple to care for, with none of the maintenance issues often associated with natural materials and concrete, but with all the aesthetic appeal. With no requirement for sealing and just a wipe with a soft damp cloth and mild detergent all that is needed to keep the surface looking its best, Sahara is perfectly suited for the busiest of areas. Fitting the lifestyle of a thoroughly modern family to perfection, this space at the heart of the home is now the ideal space for hosting.

This inset Shaker kitchen has a very calming colour scheme, with the kitchen cabinetry painted in Slaked Lime Deep by Little Greene and the island in Pompeian Ash. The wooden floor compliments the colours beautifully as do the other touches in the room. The brass inset handles tie in with other small brass details, such as in the bar stools and lampshade.

Located less than a quarter of a mile from the iconic Widemouth Bay in North Cornwall, this innovative development of five detached dwellings is sympathetic to the local landscape character, whilst providing sustainable and healthy spaces to inhabit. As a collection of unique custom-built properties, the success of the scheme depended on the quality of both design and construction, utilising a palette of colours and textures that addressed the local vernacular and proximity to the Atlantic Ocean. A fundamental objective was to ensure that the new houses made a positive contribution towards the enhancement of the area and used environmentally friendly materials that would be low-maintenance and highly robust – capable of withstanding a harsh maritime climate. Externally, bonded Porcelanosa façade at ground level and articulated, ventilated Porcelanosa façade on the first floor proved aesthetically flexible but practical. Used alongside natural stone and slate, the Porcelanosa façade provided a colourfast alternative to traditional render. Internally, the streamlined design of the buildings is further emphasized by Porcelanosa worktops in the kitchens and tiling in the bathrooms, providing a durable but elegant finish. The sense of community was reinforced with an extensive landscaping scheme that includes a communal garden area sown with wildflowers and the planting of apple, pear, lilac and lime trees. Cornish stone hedge bank boundaries between properties further improves integration with the indigenous terrain. This pioneering project allows occupants to enjoy life in contemporary, state-of-the-art homes in a landmark development that enriches its environs. As part of a refurbishment of their 1930’s house, our clients wanted a bright, elegant contemporary kitchen to sit comfortably in a new modern rear extension. Older rooms in the property were also knocked through to create a large family room with living and dining areas and an entertaining space that includes a subterranean wine cellar and a bespoke cocktail cabinet. The slab-style soft-close kitchen door fronts are finished in matt lacquer in Alpine White for tall cabinetry, and Dust Grey for door and deep drawer fronts in the three-metre island, all with matching-coloured carcases. We designed the island to feature a recessed mirrored plinth and with LED strip lights at the base to provide a floating effect to the island when illuminated at night. To combine the two cabinetry colours, the extra-long worktop is comprised of two pieces of bookmatched 20mm thick Dekton, a proprietary blend of natural quartz stone, porcelain and glass in Aura, a white surface with a feint grey vein running through it. The surface of the island is split into two zones for food preparation and cooking. On the prep side is a one and half sized undermount sink and from the 1810 Company, together with an InSinkerator waste disposal unit and a Quooker Flex 3-in1 Boiling Water Tap. Installed within the island is a 60cm integrated dishwasher by Miele. On the cooking side is a flush-mounted 90cm Novy Panorama vented downdraft induction hob, which features a ventilation tower within the surface of the hob that rises up to 30cm to extract grease and cooking vapours at source, directly next to the pans. When cooking has ended, the tower retracts back into the surface to be completely concealed. Within the run of tall cabinetry are storage cupboards, plus and integrated larder fridge and tall freezer, both by Siemens. Housed at the centre is a bank of ovens, all by Neff. These comprise two 60cm Slide&Hide pyrolytic ovens, one beneath 45cm a CircoTherm Steam Oven and the other beneath a 45cm Combination Microwave. At the end of the run is a large breakfast cupboard with pocket doors that open fully to reveal interior shelving with LED lighting and a stylish grey mirror back panel. A further freestanding cocktail bar was designed for the open plan living space.

Хозяева квартиры в Краснодаре – молодая семья с ребёнком. Только, встречи с дизайнерами и общение проходили только при участии главы семьи, так как покупка квартиры и сам процесс создания интерьера держались им в строгом секрете. «Наш заказчик хотел преподнести домочадцам роскошный сюрприз, поэтому семья не должна была ничего знать, - вспоминает Ярослав Алдошин. – При этом он максимально детально озвучил все свои предпочтения, что очень помогло нам при проектировании. Основной задачей стало создание лаконичного, технологичного пространства, с нестандартными объемными и конструктивными решениями. Никаких элементов классических стилей, все должно отвечать современным визуальным требованиям о дизайне». Особенностью проекта стало объединение двух квартир площадью 73 и 58 кв. метров. У обоих квартир – хорошие исходные данные: панорамное остекление во всех жилых помещениях, минимальное количество несущих перегородок, высота 2,9 метра, расположение на 21 этаже, что обусловило великолепную изоляцию – комнаты буквально залиты светом. Из минусов: маленькая ванная и очень узкая, вытянутая хозяйская спальня. Для семейного времяпрепровождения дизайнеры организовали объединенную зону гостиной-кухни с большим кухонным островом, увеличили площадь ванной комнаты за счёт нежилой площади, тем самым получив дополнительное пространство для размещения большой душевой и ванны, а также предусмотрели детскую комнату. Недостатки спальни исправили с помощью расстановки мебели (кровать установили по длине комнаты, изголовьем к окну) и переносом стены глубь соседней детской. Благодаря этому, в помещении удалось получить комфортную, хорошо освещенную рабочую зону с полноценным письменным столом, а также установить системы хранения и макияжный столик. При выходе из спален ближайшее помещение — вместительная гардеробная (в ней хранится основной объем вещей), что очень удобно в плане эргономики: хозяевам не нужно метаться по квартире в поисках нужных вещей, на это уходит минимум времени. К слову, алгоритмы передвижения по квартире спроектированы так, что все пути жильцов ведут в гостиную, где каждый сможет заняться своими любимыми делами, от просмотра ТВ до кулинарных поединков и отдыха у камина с книгой в руках». Интерьер построен на контрасте тёплых и холодных цветов, фактур и паттернов. Это создает необходимую динамику и наполняет пространство его смыслами. «Главной нашей задачей было создание тактильного контраста материалов, в котором современный человек нуждается не меньше, чем в цветовом и тональном разнообразии, - объясняет Ярослав, - Так, в общественной зоне мы использовали природные паттерны теплого дерева и холодного камня, нанесённые на крупноформатный керамгранит. «Местом встреч» выступает яркий, красного цвета кухонный остров. Красный цвет выбран не случайно! Василий Кандинский описывал красный как цвет, который производит впечатление почти необъятной мощи. Таким образом мы хотели подчеркнуть характер владельцев квартиры - успешных и сильных духом людей. Остров – главная точка притяжения этого пространства, соседствует с большим диваном из матового приятного на ощупь велюра, изготовленного по нашим эскизам. Обязательным условием было наличие камина в гостиной. Мы выбрали камин на биотопливе, который встроен в инсталляцию, отделанную фактурным кермогранитом и перетекающею в ТВ-зону, декорированную уже гладким керамогранитом. Световые сценарии продуманы, исходя из назначения каждой зоны. Мы предусмотрели разные типы осветительных приборов: технический потолочный свет, направленные светильники, мягкие подсветки в виде бра, торшеров и настольных светильников, создающих обволакивающую атмосферу и интересные световые акценты». Фрагмент гостиной. «Мы не привыкли сильно ориентироваться на моду, ведь она быстро меняется, а хороший интерьер должен быть актуален долгие годы, без этого весь его смысл исчезает, - замечает Елена, - Поэтому работаем на нюансах, на правильном построении колористического решения, светового сценария, очень любим использовать тактильные контрасты. Все это (даже по результатам научных исследований) помогает комфортно находиться в интерьере долгое время и получать от этого удовольствие». Вазы ручной работы. На стене – часы Menu Norm Центральный элемент интерьера — это, конечно же, большой кухонный остров красного оттенка, с консольным вылетом столешницы – центр притяжения и самое «тусовочное» место квартиры, где можно встречаться с родными после рабочего дня, проводить кулинарные поединки, устраивать шумные вечеринки или просто завтракать каждое утро. Это избавит в будущем от сверления поверхностей, картины можно будет передвигать без ущерба для стен. Все картины, находящиеся в интерьере — работы Сергея Яшина». В ванной комнате установлена умная стеклянная перегородка, которая изменяется от прозрачной к полностью непрозрачной Особого внимания в спальне заслуживает тумба-изголовье кровати в виде инсталляции из цветного глубоко-синего стекла, за которой находится хорошо освещённая рабочая зона с письменным столом. «Прозрачный лист стекла установлен в тумбу-изголовье, отделанной декоративной штукатуркой, - объясняет Ярослав, - Внутрь изголовья мы заложили электрические выводы для подключения прикроватных светильников, чтобы все провода были спрятаны и не портили общую картину. Таким образом изголовье кровати и его стеклянная инсталляция стали самыми технически сложными элементами этого пространства». Синее кресло, Sits Mokka. Рабочее кресло, Zuiver Nikki. Este cliente posee unas vistas privilegiadas que quería disfrutar también desde su cocina, por ello decidió derribar la pared que la separaba del salón creando un espacio abierto desde el que vemos el mar desde cualquier punto de la estancia. Esta decisión ha sido todo un acierto ya que han ganado en amplitud y luminosidad. Los electrodomésticos Para los electrodomésticos nuestro cliente ha confiado en la exclusiva marca Miele, empezando por la inducción en el modelo KM7667FL con 620 mm de ancho y una superficie de inducción total Con@ctivity 3.0. El horno modelo H2860BO está en columna con el microondas modelo M2230SC ambos de Miele en acabado obsidian black. El frigorífico K37672ID y el lavavajillas G5260SCVI, ambos de Miele, están integrados para que la cocina sea más minimalista visualmente. La campana integrada al techo modelo PRF0146248 HIGHLIGHT GLASS de Elica en cristal blanco es potente, silenciosa y discreta, fundiéndose con el techo gracias a su diseño moderno y elegante. Keith met this couple from Hastings at Grand Designs who stumbled upon his talk on Creating Kitchens with Light Space & Laughter. A contemporary look was their wish for the new kitchen extension and had been disappointed with previous kitchen plan/designs suggested by other home & kitchen retailers. We made a few minor alterations to the architecture of their new extension by moving the position of the utility room door, stopped the kitchen island becoming a corridor and included a secret bookcase area which they love. We also created a link window into the lounge area that opened up the space and allowed the outdoor area to flow into the room with the use of reflected glass. The window was positioned opposite the kitchen island with cushioned seating to admire their newly landscaped garden and created a build-down above. The design comprises SieMatic Pure S2 collection in Sterling Grey, Miele appliances with 12mm Dekton worktops and 30mm Spekva Breakfast Bar on one corner of the Island for casual dining or perching.
