My clients wanted to bring in color but tie in some Spanish revival influences they had on the exterior. This home is that, a marriage of Spanish revival influences with a bit of whimsy and a lot of color.
They liked the footprint but needed storage, so we stacked the wall cabinets and adding a row of shallow cabinets behind the cooktop. A wet bar in the living room was removed and we used that space for a much-needed kitchen pantry. We also enlarged the window some to help balance the sink a bit more and bring in more natural light.
Vintage Timberworks
A dramatic contrast between the dark green cabinets, brass pulls, and reclaimed wood make this kitchen remodel really pop!
Cosmopolitan Bath & Kitchen
This farmhouse kitchen incorporates the customer’s love of color and rustic materials. Countertops in soapstone and reclaimed wood complement custom color cabinetry. The wall between the dining room and kitchen was removed to create the space for the island. The reclaimed hemlock came from the rafters of an old New England church.
White Wood Kitchens
Designed by Gail O'Rourke from White Wood Kitchens, this Cape Cod kitchen compliments the ocean with Agean Mist painted cabinets. The cabinets feature Roseburg doors and are made by Fieldstone Cabinetry. The countertop is a Montgomery quartz that is accompanied by white subway tile. White appliances fit the overall vibe of this kitchen, allowing for fun accent colors to be added later.
The bathroom has a natural cherry vanity along with a built in linen closet. There is also a laundry cabinet. Builder: Campbell Construction.
System Six Kitchens
Check out this Modern take on a Shaker Kitchen. Seen here is our Treloy door in Light Grey and Light Teal.
A touch of luxury is included in every kitchen featuring the Treloy door, due to the beaded moulding surrounding the centre panel of this smooth shaker door.
House of Brazier
What began as a small, extremely dated kitchen in this 1929 Spanish Casa with an even tinier nook that you could hardly eat in has turned into a gorgeous stunner full of life!
We stayed true to the original style of the home and selected materials to complement and update its Spanish aesthetic. Luckily for us, our clients were on board with some color-loving ideas too! The peacock blue cabinets pair beautifully with the patterned tile and let those gorgeous accents shine! We kept the original copper hood and designed a functional kitchen with mixed metals, wire mesh cabinet detail, more counter space and room to entertain!

Dura Supreme Cabinetry
Diana Wiesner of Lampert Lumber in Chetek, WI worked with her client and Dura Supreme to create this custom teal blue paint color for their new kitchen. They wanted a contemporary cottage styled kitchen with blue cabinets to contrast their love of blue, red, and yellow. The homeowners can now come home to a stunning teal (aqua) blue kitchen that grabs center stage in this contemporary home with cottage details.
Bria Cabinetry by Dura Supreme with an affordable Personal Paint Match finish to "Calypso" SW 6950 in the Craftsman Beaded Panel door style.
This kitchen was featured in HGTV Magazine summer of 2014 in the Kitchen Chronicles. Here's a quote from the designer's interview that was featured in the issue. "Every time you enter this kitchen, it's like walking into a Caribbean vacation. It's upbeat and tropical, and it can be paired with equally vivid reds and greens. I was worried the homeowners might get blue fatigue, and it's definitely a gutsy choice for a rural Wisconsin home. But winters on their farm are brutal, and this color is a reminder that summer comes again." - Diana Wiesner, Lampert Lumber, Chetek, WI

KC Fine Cabinetry
Southwest meets the Northwest. This client wanted a real rustic southwest style. The perimeter is rustic rough sawn knotty alder and the Island is hand painted rustic pine. The wide plank wood top is the center piece to this kitchen. Lots of colorful Mexican tile give depth to the earth tones. All the cabinets are custom made by KC Fine Cabinetry.
