Tracy - I have the 15" pendants and they are substantial, but the size is a matter of preference. Something to consider...if you choose 19" pendants, you will have almost 5' of total pendant over the island (ie. 19" x 3 = 4.75') , which means you will only have about 10" between lights at their largest point. I think that's too tight, I would go with 15".
