Refreshing the fireplace was high on our to-do list! The fireplace is now a focal point in the house, and with this overhaul, it's newly crafted, dark wood mantel, Roycroft Green painted brick (by Sherwin Williams), and handmade tiles from Clayhaus are just the right elements to make this statement. These homeowners loved the Gustave Klimpt "Tree of Life" and we made the room shine with refinished hardwood flooring and the wood work refresh throughout. The existing cedar ceiling was re-finished. Beams and boards divide up the ceiling to add detail and interest. The beams run into custom brackets with black metal detailing that reflect the slope of the ceiling on the sides of the room. The existing fireplace was re-finished with non-grouted vineyard granite ashlar and a new oak mantel. Custom cabinets were built on both sides of the fireplace to provide storage and conceal the entertainment system.

In this Kohlmark home. We designed and manufactured these small mini flood lights to provide a soft wash on the cedar ceiling and to light the trellises. This was truly a one of a kind fixture for a special application.
