This sunken backyard drops down to a backyard paradise that includes a breathtaking view of a Liberty Inground pool with dive rock and waterfall features. The expansive stone deck allows for multiple patio seating areas, and a great view from anywhere.

This pool was designed to accommodate a volleyball net to be set in sleeves in the planters so teams can play in the same water depth on each side of the net. There is a 15' square space within the circular forms so the "court" is roughly the same size.

View southward over the lower fourteen acres taken from the upper lawn show the terraced 2000 square foot custom pool. A ha-ha wall concept was utilized to separate the pool landscape from the pasture below where without would leave the plantings vulnerable to deer-browse.

Located in the prestigious Town of Higland Park, just outside Dallas, this French styled property features aspects of both Country French style and formality. The front garden features an internal lawn with symmetrical walkways that curve around to the front porch and balustrade. In the side courtyard, a decorative fountain element accents this intimate space with wonderful tumbled bluestone paving detailing. In the rear garden, a raised formal pool anchors the space and features an antique French wall fountain element that spills into the pool. The brick perimeter walls feature lush landscaping, climbing vines and screen trees to enclose the garden and provide screening for the view from the house and upper balconies.
