Estudio Interiorismo Raquel GonzálezToda la pared del cabecero del dormitorio principal se ha revestido con una pieza de palillería decorativa a juego con el resto de la casa que añade calidez a la habitación. La cama se ha vestido con un cabecero tapizado y un juego doble de lámparas colgantes, un diseño de Jose Fornas para Aromas del Campo en oro envejecido y cristal estriado que aporta un toque minimalista, atemporal y delicado al conjunto del dormitorio.
En esta ocasión, y al igual que en las puertas correderas del recibidor, los listones de madera se han colocado en formato horizontal. “La madera alistonada ha ganado mucha popularidad en los últimos años, pero en la mayoría de casos colocada en vertical, así que decidimos colocarla en horizontal por un tema de originalidad y por diferenciarnos del resto de estudios”, explica Raquel Gonzalez.

Sarah Rice Design LLCWe designed and installed this square grid board and batten wall in this primary suite. It is painted Coconut Shell by Behr. Black channel tufted euro shams were added to the existing bedding. We also updated the nightstands with new table lamps and decor, added a new rug, curtains, artwork floor mirror and faux yuca tree. To create better flow in the space, we removed the outward swing door that leads to the en suite bathroom and installed a modern barn door.
Haven Design and ConstructionThe lovely primary bedroom feels modern, yet cozy. The custom octagon wall panels create a sophisticated atmosphere, while the chandelier and modern bedding add a punch of personality to the space. The lush landscape draws the eye to the expansive windows overlooking the backyard. The homeowner's favorite shade of aubergine adds depth to the mostly white space.
Jetton Construction, Inc.This property was transformed from an 1870s YMCA summer camp into an eclectic family home, built to last for generations. Space was made for a growing family by excavating the slope beneath and raising the ceilings above. Every new detail was made to look vintage, retaining the core essence of the site, while state of the art whole house systems ensure that it functions like 21st century home.

Kathy Kuo Designs IncEchoing the same modern classic feel, we chose a wood frame bed in a grayish wood tone and paired that with medium brown nightstands and a dresser with antique brass details. A dark wood framed bench with beige upholstery sits at the end of the bed. Table lamps made of stone and with brass details, provided just the right touch of sophistication to the space. Matching that is a unique brass chandelier. A dark framed mirror with brass accents is placed above the dresser to provide visual appeal and to give lightness to the space. Finally, an area rug with classical elements gives added warmth to the space.
