The staircase is the focal point of the home. Chunky floating open treads, blackened steel, and continuous metal rods make for functional and sculptural circulation. Skylights aligned above the staircase illuminate the home and create unique shadow patterns that contribute to the artistic style of the home.

With porches on every side, the “Georgetown” is designed for enjoying the natural surroundings. The main level of the home is characterized by wide open spaces, with connected kitchen, dining, and living areas, all leading onto the various outdoor patios. The main floor master bedroom occupies one entire wing of the home, along with an additional bedroom suite. The upper level features two bedroom suites and a bunk room, with space over the detached garage providing a private guest suite.

The entry to this man cave is as moody as it gets. The dark painted wall paneling contrasts the hardwood flooring. Small wall sconces in an antique brass finish light up our clients college memorabilia, making the stairway a walk down memory lane.

A classic select-grade natural oak. Timeless and versatile. With the Modin Collection, we have raised the bar on luxury vinyl plank. The result is a new standard in resilient flooring. Modin offers true embossed in register texture, a low sheen level, a rigid SPC core, an industry-leading wear layer, and so much more.

This contemporary staircase, with light color wood treads & railing, white risers, and black-round metal balusters, blends seamlessly with the subtle sophistication of the fireplace in the main living area, and with the adjacent rooms in this stylish open concept 3 story home. Beautiful Stark carpet installed on a staircase in a Cape Cod home in dark navy blue pattern adding a pop of color, pattern, and style to the space.
Amuneal Manufacturing Corp.
Amuneal’s kitchens and bars bring unexpected materials and finishes to create truly special installations. This bar uses the old-world technique of hand-burning wood to create a dynamic finish that highlights the organic nature of the raw materials. The charred pine door and drawer faces are juxtaposed with crisp machined hardware and a hand-patinated bronze top to create a look that feels both contemporary and timeless. The 3-Bay Collector’s Shelving unit in gunmetal and bronze is the perfect match to the humble complexity of this unit.

Our La Cañada studio juxtaposed the historic architecture of this home with contemporary, Spanish-style interiors. It features a contrasting palette of warm and cool colors, printed tilework, spacious layouts, high ceilings, metal accents, and lots of space to bond with family and entertain friends.
