Breathe Design StudioCompleted in 2020, this large 3,500 square foot bungalow underwent a major facelift from the 1990s finishes throughout the house. We worked with the homeowners who have two sons to create a bright and serene forever home. The project consisted of one kitchen, four bathrooms, den, and game room. We mixed Scandinavian and mid-century modern styles to create these unique and fun spaces.

Brendan McHugh, Architect, Manasquan, NJView out two windows at the top of a u-shaped stair. Beautifully simple light fixture with black geometric frames surrounding chandelier with exposed bulbs is the perfect accent to this stair. It is a more elegant take on a spherical pendant light.
The black frame in the light repeats the black of the simple black railing. The wall paneling adds sophistication and interest to the space.

「モダン＆エレガンス」のコンセプトに沿うグレー基調の空間と調和させるべく、手すり・ささら桁はピュアホワイト、木製段板はリアルブラックカラーとしています。モノトーンで単調とならないよう、ささら桁は特徴的なサンダー型仕様とし、背面の高級感あるクロスと併せて空間のアクセントとなっています。階段を中心に間取りを構成しているため、ゆるやかに上下階のつながりを感じられ、明るく開放感のある空間を実現しています。
また、ソファの背後にはリビングとダイニングを緩やかに区切るためにカスタムウォールを採用させていただいています。ウォルナットの木目、ブラックの支柱が彩度を抑えた空間へマッチしています。

Triple Dot Design StudioFront foyer and stairwell with new wooden hand rail, floor treads, and new paneled walls were added to dress up the space. Black herringbone brick floors were added to give the front entrance a durable floor finish to with stand the wear and tear of day to day living.
