Woodsman Kitchens and Floors
This super hip couple wanted to streamline their 2000's beach condo to fit with their mid century furnishings.
To achieve this look Micaela used Eclipse (frameless) by Shiloh Cabs, HPL (high pressure laminate) glossy in “Designer White”. They added Sea foam green paneling by Kitchen Craft Acrylic in “Green Glass” and the counters are Viatera engineered quartz in "Slate”. Beautiful job.

A riverfront property is a desirable piece of property duet to its proximity to a waterway and parklike setting. The value in this renovation to the customer was creating a home that allowed for maximum appreciation of the outside environment and integrating the outside with the inside, and this design achieved this goal completely.
To eliminate the fishbowl effect and sight-lines from the street the kitchen was strategically designed with a higher counter top space, wall areas were added and sinks and appliances were intentional placement. Open shelving in the kitchen and wine display area in the dining room was incorporated to display customer's pottery. Seating on two sides of the island maximize river views and conversation potential. Overall kitchen/dining/great room layout designed for parties, etc. - lots of gathering spots for people to hang out without cluttering the work triangle.
Eliminating walls in the ensuite provided a larger footprint for the area allowing for the freestanding tub and larger walk-in closet. Hardwoods, wood cabinets and the light grey colour pallet were carried through the entire home to integrate the space.

This mid-century modern was a full restoration back to this home's former glory. The vertical grain fir ceilings were reclaimed, refinished, and reinstalled. The floors were a special epoxy blend to imitate terrazzo floors that were so popular during this period. The quartz countertops waterfall on both ends and the handmade tile accents the backsplash. Reclaimed light fixtures, hardware, and appliances put the finishing touches on this remodel.

Haven Design and Construction
The kitchen in this Mid Century Modern home is a true showstopper. The designer expanded the original kitchen footprint and doubled the kitchen in size. The walnut dividing wall and walnut cabinets are hallmarks of the original mid century design, while a mix of deep blue cabinets provide a more modern punch. The triangle shape is repeated throughout the kitchen in the backs of the counter stools, the ends of the waterfall island, the light fixtures, the clerestory windows, and the walnut dividing wall.

This kitchen design features an island that extends into the old breakfast nook. It has stools on both sides to offer family style seating.
BKC Kitchen and Bath
The original kitchen in this 1968 Lakewood home was cramped and dark. The new homeowners wanted an open layout with a clean, modern look that was warm rather than sterile. This was accomplished with custom cabinets, waterfall-edge countertops and stunning light fixtures.

We always love undertaking a whole home remodeling project -- especially one where the clients had looked for years for their perfect home, and not having found it, decided to stay where they are and turn their space into their ULTIMATE dream home. And we were more than happy to oblige!
Fraley and Company
The original floor plan of the kitchen changed very little, with the exception of centering the range to get some landing space on either side.
