Accent lighting was used in this traditional dining room to create drama. Soft focus lenses allow the accent lighting to softly spill onto the surrounding wall surfaces so as not to lose the vibrant colors. Accent lighting is also aimed at the dining table to remove the need for the chandelier to be the functional light for the table. UV and IR were both filtered out of the perimeter lights for preservation of these important works of art. The overall lighting composition creates a functional, glare-free dramatic space.
