A bathroom renovation: 1. Optimised layout 2. Updated the decor and storage to a contemporary yet retro feel, that harmonises with this mid-century beachfront home.

A guest bath lavatory area by Doug Walter , Architect. Custom alder cabinetry holds a copper vessel sink. Twin sconces provide generous lighting, and are supplemented by downlights on dimmers as well. Slate floors carry through the rustic Colorado theme. Linen closet was relocated to make room for large pullman. Arch above the mirrors was added to mimic existing arch. Floor features large medallion.

Large diameter Western Red Cedar logs from Pioneer Log Homes of B.C. built by Brian L. Wray in the Colorado Rockies. 4500 square feet of living space with 4 bedrooms, 3.5 baths and large common areas, decks, and outdoor living space make it perfect to enjoy the outdoors then get cozy next to the fireplace and the warmth of the logs.

This project is a whole home remodel that is being completed in 2 phases. The first phase included this bathroom remodel. The whole home will maintain the Mid Century styling. The cabinets are stained in Alder Wood. The countertop is Ceasarstone in Pure White. The shower features Kohler Purist Fixtures in Vibrant Modern Brushed Gold finish. The flooring is Large Hexagon Tile from Dal Tile. The decorative tile is Wayfair “Illica” ceramic. The lighting is Mid-Century pendent lights. Stone and Log Cabin. Natural stonework in outdoor spaces gives off an old-world feel that it was built generations before. Plank and chink facade and encasements on windows provide additional rustic character. The property overlooks the Bridger Mountains.
