This Kitchen was renovated into an open concept space with a large island and custom cabinets - that provide ample storage including a wine fridge and coffee station. The details in this space reflect the client's fun personalities! With a punch of blue on the island, that coordinates with the patterned tile above the range. The funky bar stools are as comfortable as they are fabulous. Lastly, the mini fan cools off the space while industrial pendants illuminate the island seating. Maintenance was also at the forefront of this design when specifying quartz counter-tops, porcelain flooring, ceramic backsplash, and granite composite sinks. These all contribute to easy living. Crazy about hexagons. This is a perfect blend of a classic yet contemporary kitchen.

A mountain modern designed kitchen complete with high-end Thermador appliances, a pot filler, two sinks, wood flat panel cabinets and a large counter height island. The kitchen is open to the dining room and the great room as well as connected to the large exterior deck through large glass sliders. The 10 foot custom walnut dining table was designed by principal interior & furniture designer Emily Roose. The great room linear fireplace has a custom concrete hearth and is clad in black metal as well as rusted steel columns. In between the rusted steel columns are Modular Art Panels that were custom painted and are lit with LED strips running down behind the rusted steel columns. The fireplace wall is clad in custom stained wood panels that also hides away the TV when not in use. The window off of the prep sink counter slides back to act as a pass through out to the BBQ area on the exterior large deck. Photo courtesy © Martis Camp Realty & Paul Hamill Photography

This kitchen has a "Traditional" design with an "Old World" twist. The kitchen is comprised of a painted cream, knotty alder, distressed door and a contrasting dark stained, knotty alder, distressed island. The combination of light and dark wood is a classic move in Traditional design, but the distressing tilts in the direction of Old World. The Counter tops are a combination of Quartz in the kitchen and an earth tone granite on the island to anchor the color palette. We kept the original brick to use as backsplash and the project is all built on "wood plank" porcelain tile. Enjoy!

Inspired by their years in Japan and California and their Scandinavian heritage, we updated this 1938 home with a earthy palette and clean lines. Rift-cut white oak cabinetry, white quartz counters and a soft green tile backsplash are balanced with details that reference the home's history. Classic light fixtures soften the modern elements. We created a new arched opening to the living room and removed the trim around other doorways to enlarge them and mimic original arched openings. Removing an entry closet and breakfast nook opened up the overall footprint and allowed for a functional work zone that includes great counter space on either side of the range, when they had none before.
