Beautiful outdoor space created adjoining the new rear extension. The outdoor dining table and outdoor lounge is in constant use, great for everyday family living and when entertaining a crowd.
The existing period house was restored as part of incorporating a modern extension to the rear.
The cladding was custom cut from larger sheets to create the patern designed to break up any uniformity of sheets.

With consideration to the structural integrity of the home, a dated and largely redundant pool positioned against the house was demolished, making way for generous entertaining areas that are sympathetic to both the home and the natural setting.
A sophisticated combination of natural stone, cedar and sand coloured paint allow the built element to sit comfortably amongst the tall eucalypts. Outdoor lighting allows the garden to be enjoyed long after the sun has set.
Low stone walls and furnishings provide subtle separations to the space creating defined areas to entertain, relax and dine.
