This McLean family had recently built a family room addition and wanted to create an open concept kitchen to connect all the spaces. Schroeder Design/Build created a new kitchen, adjacent banquette seating area with storage and a screened porch. Now anyone in the kitchen can be a part of what's happening in the family room. An island with seating provides additional seating for nights of entertaining.
Woodharbor Custom Cabinetry
The tall cabinet to the left has a columns modified to 1 1/2" with a return to design a modern, frameless look. The columns are 1 1/2" inches taller than the cabinet, with solid stock molding across the top. The client wanted the shelves to display hand crafted African art, a sculpture and other accessories, adding to the organic look. The blind corner has a LeMans Hafele storage unit.

Kitchen Solvers of Orlando
Custom kitchen remodeling project done with cabinet refacing. The cabinets were refaced in Northern Contour Thermofoil raised French miter doors. The stain used was Summer Flame. Large crown molding with rope profile was installed on top of the wall cabinets. To complete the remodel we also installed a rollout cleaning supply caddy, a single trash can rollout bin and a 3 level storage pullout.
