Here's a beautiful way to double the functionality of cabinetry: install a set of deep drawers at floor level - good for storing items you use in frequently - and add cushions to create extra seating.

With just a few thoughtful essentials, an empty area of the kitchen can become the most sought-after spot in the house. Tucked into a charming nook, the plank-topped Arlo round table cozies up to café-style seating – which include the solid oak Bayfield side chairs. Bright, comfy pillows and a calming piece of art help create an irresistible dining space, where early mornings are spent curled up with croissants and coffee, and late evenings linger over dessert and wine.
Woodchuck's Fine Furniture & Decor
This smaller dining area features a round dining table from the Modern Heritage collection by HGTV Furniture and Bassett Furniture. The timeless, sophisticated styling features neoclassical-inspired case detailing in a Cerise finish with antique copper hardware or in a Noire finish on select products. The table includes a leaf and is expandable up to 70". Also pictured are stylish Modern Heritage X back dining chairs, and a sideboard with 4 doors, adjustable shelves, silverware tray, UbaTube stone top inserts and a power strip.
Design Harmony
The goal in updating this Redmond breakfast nook was to make it feel inviting and cozy.
We started with a room that felt crowded and lacked personality.
By added white board + batten with white grasscloth above we gained some much needed texture.
New lighting, updated furniture and striped curtains create a welcoming space.
