This kitchen was completely remodeled. The space was a full gut down to the studs and sub floors.
The biggest challenge in the space was reorienting the layout to accommodate an island, larger appliances and leveling the space. The floors were more than a few inches out of level. We also turned a U-shaped kitchen with a peninsula into an L-shape with and island and relocated the sink to create a more open, eat-in area.
An additional area that was taken into consideration was the half bathroom just off the kitchen. Originally the bathroom opened up directly into the kitchen creating a break in the circulation. The toilet was rotated 180 degrees and flipped the bathroom to the other side of the area allowing the door to open and close without interfering with meal prep.
Three of the most important design features include the bold navy blue cabinets, professional appliances and modern material selection including matte brass hardware and fixtures (FAUCET, POT FILLER, PENDANTS ETC…), Herringbone backsplash, tile and white marble countertops.

Our firm worked closely with the Junior League of Miami to raise funds for the women and children who benefit from the Junior League’s programming and scholarships. A group of designers participated in the project of renovating the main house as well as the cottages. We felt in love with the Sausage Tree Cottage Kitchen and instead of demolishing the old kitchen we wanted to preserve the actual beauty and bring the old space back to it is glamour. The St Charles cabinets were of great inspiration for us. We strongly believe in history preservation.

Once a small bedroom for a governess, now creatively converted to "Le Petit Pantry de Plumberry"
Just steps away from the Master Bedroom, Dressing Area and Atrium lies a pantry like no other! A small, yet fully functional kitchen capable of fulfilling any request or appetite!
The cherry cabinetry is finished in a beautiful French blue-grey striate with accents of walnut and adorned with polished nickel and crystal glass knobs. The extraordinary white Calacatta Romano marble countertops are reflected in the hand cut marble mosaics extending the full height of the wall providing a breathtaking moment upon entering this room.
A quick cup of fresh hot coffee, espresso or cappuccino is easily accessible as Monsieur dresses for the start of his business day. Maybe he has time to sit at the marble peninsula and enjoy the view and the fireplace as he reads the morning paper and listens to the stock and traffic news.
The refrigerator is elegantly camouflaged as an antique mirrored armoire. Inside is an undisclosed amount of cookie dough that serves to cure Madame's fervor for fresh shortbreads with her afternoon tea or a quick snack for the little one's playing in the Atrium. Simply place a few dollops of dough and place in the speed oven for just several minutes and voila.
Monsieur loves to prepare a full breakfast for his d'amour as they lounge in their chambers on a lazy morning, along with hot baked croissants, frothing lattes, and fresh berries and cream. Everything he needs is just within reach...a fully stocked refrigerator, induction cooktop, speed oven and concealed dishwasher to provide an easy clean up.

When we first met our client from New Craighall, Edinburgh, she told us that she wanted to add light to her kitchen. She has failing eyesight and was finding it increasingly difficult to prepare meals in her dark kitchen. Our designer suggested a classic pastel blue colour scheme to help reflect light and make the space feel brighter.
We maximised the natural light from the window and patio doors by using light-reflecting colours and materials. We used Mornington cabinet doors in Ives Blue paired with a Fjord Green carcass and white Calacatta Aurum quartz worktops. We also installed ceiling spotlights to brighten the space even more.
To make the kitchen more functional, we created a task area as a breakfast bar so our client can have ample space to prepare meals. We opted for an oak worktop for the breakfast bar to add interest to the room. This matches the rest of the wood accents in the space, such as the corner shelves and the worktop on the kitchen dresser.
Lastly, we installed Neff appliances throughout the kitchen to ensure it is fully equipped for cooking and entertaining. The result is a timeless, light, and airy kitchen, despite its relatively small size.

Tones of golden oak and walnut, with sparse knots to balance the more traditional palette. With the Modin Collection, we have raised the bar on luxury vinyl plank. The result is a new standard in resilient flooring. Modin offers true embossed in register texture, a low sheen level, a rigid SPC core, an industry-leading wear layer, and so much more.

A young family with kids purchased their first home and contacted me with the task to design an upbeat and energetic space for them, which also will have all the functionality they needed. There were some restrains - a load-bearing beam ran across the space leaving very little wall space on the left available.
We've chosen European size appliances and creatively resolved the corner to allow the sink placement.
and added a ton of color and shine.
