Complete aging-in-place bathroom remodel to make it more accessible. Includes stylish safety grab bars, LED lighting, wide shower seat, under-mount tub with wide ledge, radiant heated flooring, and curbless entry to shower.

The clients shared with us an inspiration picture of a white marble bathroom with clean lines and elegant feel. Their current master bathroom was far from elegant. With a somewhat limited budget, the goal was to create a walk-in shower, additional storage and elegant feel without having to change much of the footprint. To have the look of a marble bath without the high price tag we used on the floor and walls a durable porcelain tile with a realistic Carrara marble look makes this upscale bathroom a breeze to maintain. It also compliments the real Carrara marble countertop perfectly. A vanity with dual sinks was installed. On each side of the vanity is ample cabinet and drawer storage. This bathroom utilized all the storage space possible, while still having an open feel and flow. This master bath now has clean lines, delicate fixtures and the look of high end materials without the high end price-tag. The result is an elegant bathroom that they enjoy spending time and relaxing in.

This hall bathroom was a complete remodel. The green subway tile is by Bedrosian Tile. The marble mosaic floor tile is by Tile Club. The vanity is by Avanity.

A fresh new look to a small powder bath. Our client wanted her glass dolphin to be highlighted in the room. Changing the plumbing wall was necessary to eliminate the sliding shower door.

In the Busse Master bathroom, we tore down a wall to increase space. Originally doors separated the vanity from the commode and shower. We installed a closet with frosted glass doors and accent lighting inside. A sliding white barn door with wrought iron trim was installed at the entrance. The vanity is 72" with a double bowl, is custom-made and espresso-stained with 4-stacked drawers and granite counter top. The vanity has a backsplash with 2 rectangular under mount bowls. Two Delta 8" spread Ashlyn faucet in a brushed nickel finish are mounted on the countertop. Two wood-framed mirrors and full-length linen tower match the vanity with 2 sets of 3 vanity lights. The shower is 12' x12' with faux marble, in an offset pattern, floor to ceiling tile with 4" feature strip with extra-wide recessed niche. Delta shower faucet with the Intuition handheld/shower head combine in a brushed nickel finish. Heavy frameless hinged shower door with panels. The floor is 2" x 2" tile to match the bathroom floor which is a 13" x13" straight pattern, porcelain tile with matching tile baseboard. Walking into the soothing palette of this primary bath is a pleasure. Angling the freestanding tub softened the lines of the space, added interest and on a practical level, makes cleaning a breeze. The softly veined tile floor is also at the same angle as the tub and extends the lines. Flanking his and her vanities were updated in beautiful grey with marble tops. The shower design continues the complementary theme. The glossy white tile provides a light, clean feeling. The angled frameless shower door is low iron to ensure full clarity. The shower seat, corner shelves, and a hand-held shower head are lovely amenities.

Elevated cottage style bathroom brings the clients favorite styles together. The warmth of cottage elements balanced with glamorous, elegant finishes.

This petite en-suite guest bath was a small second story addition to a Tudor home. We used classic hexagon marble floor tiles and pale gray subway tiles across the entire wall to keep the design timeless. The navy vanity and sparkling Polished Chrome fixtures add pops of visual interest to this functional new space.

Both the master bath and the guest bath were in dire need of a remodel. The guest bath was a much simpler project, basically replacing what was there in the same location with upgraded cabinets, tile, fittings fixtures and lighting. The most dramatic feature is the patterned floor tile and the navy blue painted ship lap wall behind the vanity. The master was another project. First, we enlarged the bathroom and an adjacent closet by straightening out the walls across the entire length of the bedroom. This gave us the space to create a lovely bathroom complete with a double bowl sink, medicine cabinet, wash let toilet and a beautiful shower.

This Waukesha bathroom remodel was unique because the homeowner needed wheelchair accessibility. We designed a beautiful master bathroom and met the client’s ADA bathroom requirements. Original Space The old bathroom layout was not functional or safe. The client could not get in and out of the shower or maneuver around the vanity or toilet. The goal of this project was ADA accessibility. ADA Bathroom Requirements All elements of this bathroom and shower were discussed and planned. Every element of this Waukesha master bathroom is designed to meet the unique needs of the client. Designing an ADA bathroom requires thoughtful consideration of showering needs. Open Floor Plan – A more open floor plan allows for the rotation of the wheelchair. A 5-foot turning radius allows the wheelchair full access to the space. Doorways – Sliding barn doors open with minimal force. The doorways are 36” to accommodate a wheelchair. Curbless Shower – To create an ADA shower, we raised the sub floor level in the bedroom. There is a small rise at the bedroom door and the bathroom door. There is a seamless transition to the shower from the bathroom tile floor. Grab Bars – Decorative grab bars were installed in the shower, next to the toilet and next to the sink (towel bar). Handheld Showerhead – The handheld Delta Palm Shower slips over the hand for easy showering. Shower Shelves – The shower storage shelves are minimalistic and function as handhold points. Non-Slip Surface – Small herringbone ceramic tile on the shower floor prevents slipping. ADA Vanity – We designed and installed a wheelchair accessible bathroom vanity. It has clearance under the cabinet and insulated pipes. Lever Faucet – The faucet is offset so the client could reach it easier. We installed a lever operated faucet that is easy to turn on/off. Integrated Counter/Sink – The solid surface counter and sink is durable and easy to clean. ADA Toilet – The client requested a bidet toilet with a self opening and closing lid. ADA bathroom requirements for toilets specify a taller height and more clearance. Heated Floors – WarmlyYours heated floors add comfort to this beautiful space. Linen Cabinet – A custom linen cabinet stores the homeowners towels and toiletries. Style The design of this bathroom is light and airy with neutral tile and simple patterns. The cabinetry matches the existing oak woodwork throughout the home.
