Traditional kitchen remodel in a 1916 Portland Oregon Bungalow. This kitchen had been remodeled multiple times throughout the years and was in dire need of a fresh remodel. The home owners now have a time period appropriate style kitchen with modern creature comforts every cook will love.

Shaker doors give this kitchen an amazing finish, with the combination of marble and dark Caesar stone tops it gives a dramatic wow factor.
Chi Renovation & Design
A retro 1950’s kitchen featuring green custom colored cabinets with glass door mounts, under cabinet lighting, pull-out drawers, and Lazy Susans. To contrast with the green we added in red window treatments, a toaster oven, and other small red polka dot accessories. A few final touches we made include a retro fridge, retro oven, retro dishwasher, an apron sink, light quartz countertops, a white subway tile backsplash, and retro tile flooring.
Home located in Humboldt Park Chicago. Designed by Chi Renovation & Design who also serve the Chicagoland area and it's surrounding suburbs, with an emphasis on the North Side and North Shore. You'll find their work from the Loop through Lincoln Park, Skokie, Evanston, Wilmette, and all of the way up to Lake Forest.

Built Tough Construction of North Georgia
Design Services Provided - Architect was asked to convert this 1950's Split Level Style home into a Traditional Style home with a 2-story height grand entry foyer. The new design includes modern amenities such as a large 'Open Plan' kitchen, a family room, a home office, an oversized garage, spacious bedrooms with large closets, a second floor laundry room and a private master bedroom suite for the owners that includes two walk-in closets and a grand master bathroom with a vaulted ceiling. The Architect presented the new design using Professional 3D Design Software. This approach allowed the Owners to clearly understand the proposed design and secondly, it was beneficial to the Contractors who prepared Preliminary Cost Estimates. The construction duration was nine months and the project was completed in September 2015. The client is thrilled with the end results! We established a wonderful working relationship and a lifetime friendship. I am truly thankful for this opportunity to design this home and work with this client!
Chalkhouse Kitchens
Extending their current kitchen gave this family the open plan kitchen, dining and family space they were looking for. Beautiful in-frame cabinets in a simple Shaker style, painted in Farrow and Ball Cornforth White keep things fresh and airy. An island with casual seating and decorative display unit also hides the microwave out of sight. A solid planked oak worktop on the island picks up the oak flooring colour to add warmth to the room. The pared down layout keeps this classic kitchen beautifully on-trend. Marble-like quartz worktops keep the colour scheme pale and interesting while being extremely practical. The utility room was fitted with matching Shaker unit with iroko worktops for practicality.Photographs by Felix Page
Amazing Spaces
The clients described their aesthetic as casual with rustic, country flare. Early involvement in the design and construction of the addition allowed us to have significant input to the placement of the columns that separate the kitchen from the dining area. The columns were used to set up symmetry in the room with the cooktop and hood at the center, and windows were placed around the room for an even distribution of natural light and views.
Green was chosen for the buffet unit to keep the white cabinetry from overwhelming the dining area while providing a visual break between the similarly stained table and island. It also helps meld the colors between the slate porcelain tile and wood floors.
