A 90's Golden Oak kitchen (common in MN) needed a refresh, but keeping in tune with the original style of the home was an important piece. So cherry cabinets and a beautiful blue double island transformed this kitchen and dinette into a single space. Now when the kids come home from college there's plenty of room for everyone!

These clients came to us with a tiny galley kitchen with a refrigerator in a separate room! Utilizing space from an adjacent three-season porch we created a larger, brighter more functional kitchen, with a slider to the patio. The "fridge room" became pantry space and the substitution of a barn door at the powder room and living room alleviated awkward door swings. The kitchen is now a great gathering space for this busy family. Cabinetry by Fabuwood, Counters by Silestone, Hardware by Amerock, Plumbing by Artisan

This home’s bright white traditional kitchen bounces light off every surface, from the Amazon Pearl Quartzite countertops and white subway tile backsplash to the gleaming white cabinets with their polished nickel hardware. Polished nickel is repeated in the faucet that is paired with a large white farm sink. A small area rug in shades of blue covers the walnut stained hardwood floor, while a stainless-steel range stands ready to take on any cooking task.
A trio of frosted globe pendants hang from gold chains above the center island. The honeycomb design of the pendants is echoed in the blue trellis pattern of the roman shades that have been accented with a navy band. Coffee bean stained barstools boast turquoise seats in a durable easy-to-clean vinyl, and the striped fabric covering the built-in banquette has been laminated for easy cleaning as well.
Light gray walls and ceiling are punctuated with white trim and provide a fresh neutral backdrop for the harmonious colors living in this hardworking space.

This active family purchased their home and began remodeling before moving in. The out-dated kitchen had oak cabinets and 4" orange tile on the countertops that had to go! (see before photos) It was replaced with a light and bright eat in kitchen. The expansive island provides ample counter space not only for baking and eating, but homework and crafts. Cabinetry with convenient access to blind corners, thoughtful layout for function and storage created a kitchen that is truly the heart of their home. The laundry room is clean and fresh with larger cabinets and a relocated laundry sink under the window. The family room fireplace was also updated with new surround and custom bookcases.
