This wonderfully quaint room with it’s spectacular fireplace is the perfect setting for a cozy furniture grouping meant to encourage conversation. The combination of modern, colorful fabrics and furniture with traditional lines gives this room pizazz while being mindful of the traditional architecture of the home.

Pineapple House Interior Design
To create a home that would be conducive to seeing everywhere and bringing the family together, we had to remove or shorten every wall on the first floor. The home's new configuration opens the kitchen to almost every room on lower level. This picture shows that you can see into the kitchen from the formal living room at the front of the house. Additionally, a wet bar is in this room, which is a great asset when entertaining.

The great room has a two story fireplace flanked by recesssed display shelving. Everything was painted out the same color as the walls for unification and to achieve an updated interior. The oversized furnishings help to ground the space. An open loft and galley hall overlook the space from the second floor and massive windwows let in full light from the covered deck beyond.
