There are several unique elements to this project, one example being the columns that separate the floating kitchen shelves. The team created these columns and shelves by dealing with an existing condition (the neighbors pipes). The masonry wall that is shown on the interior of the kitchen is also the exterior of the building, so the pipes couldn’t be removed or hidden. There was electrical in that wall, as well, so the team built all of this into the design of the kitchen.

One of the many Miele appliances in this kitchen is the warming drawer, seen in this picture. Its close proximity to the dining table makes it easy to transfer warm plates from the drawer to the table. The warming drawer can also be used for slow cooking. This slow cooker facility makes catering for both family and guests simpler.

Simple geometry and some luxe detailing make this NYC brownstone's kitchen unique. Bespoke charcoal recessed panel cabinetry feature antique glass upper cabinets, traditional hinges, and lots of brass ornamentation. Custom black steel French window and doors take advantage of Southern exposure. Custom brass and steel range hood complement the LaCornue range. Plenty of Carrara marble invite interaction around the island's deep fireclay sink.

High cabinets? No problem with the hide away step stool. Simply fold it up and store under a cabinet. The toe kick hides the ladder when not in use.
