This ceiling was designed and detailed by dSPACE Studio. We created a custom plaster mold that was fabricated by a Chicago plaster company and installed and finished on-site.
Curated Nest
This living room renovation features a transitional style with a nod towards Tudor decor. The living room has to serve multiple purposes for the family, including entertaining space, family-together time, and even game-time for the kids. So beautiful case pieces were chosen to house games and toys, the TV was concealed in a custom built-in cabinet and a stylish yet durable round hammered brass coffee table was chosen to stand up to life with children. This room is both functional and gorgeous! Curated Nest Interiors is the only Westchester, Brooklyn & NYC full-service interior design firm specializing in family lifestyle design & decor.

Mid Century Modern Renovation - nestled in the heart of Arapahoe Acres. This home was purchased as a foreclosure and needed a complete renovation. To complete the renovation - new floors, walls, ceiling, windows, doors, electrical, plumbing and heating system were redone or replaced. The kitchen and bathroom also underwent a complete renovation - as well as the home exterior and landscaping. Many of the original details of the home had not been preserved so Kimberly Demmy Design worked to restore what was intact and carefully selected other details that would honor the mid century roots of the home. Completed in 2010 this 1950's Ranch transformed into a modern family home with 6 bedrooms and 4 1/2 baths. Concrete floors and counters and gray stained cabinetry are warmed by rich bold colors. Public spaces were opened to each other and the entire second level is a master suite.
