Open concept living room in an 1890's historical home. A linear gas fireplace surrounded by comfortable, yet elegant lounge seating makes for a cozy space to read or have a cocktail. The original space consisted of 3 small rooms and is now one continuous space.

A new take on Japandi living. Distinct architectural elements found in European architecture from Spain and France, mixed with layout decisions of eastern philosophies, grounded in a warm minimalist color scheme, with lots of natural elements and textures. The room has been cleverly divided into different zones, for reading, gathering, relaxing by the fireplace, or playing the family’s heirloom baby grand piano.

The room is centered on a large wood burning fireplace which was finished with a reclaimed timber mantle we locally sourced and a plaster finish (Portola Paint). One of a kind vintage pieces such as the accent chair and sofa table add character to the living space.

The Lucius 140 Tunnel by Element4 is a perfectly proportioned linear see-through fireplace. With this design you can bring warmth and elegance to two spaces -- with just one fireplace.
French Bedroom
An elegantly hand-carved bedroom chair, with ornate floral carvings, curved cabriole legs and rattan seat, arms and back. The warm wood tones of this naturally finished chair make it the perfect addition to any bedroom.
The high quality workmanship and double-layered cane ensure this graceful French chair will be an heirloom of the future. We love the swooping 'U' shape the arms and seat make, and the carved detailing on the crest of the seat back and the tops of each leg.
Reclaimed French furniture at its best.

As part of a housing development surrounding Donath Lake, this Passive House in Colorado home is striking with its traditional farmhouse contours and estate-like French chateau appeal. The vertically oriented design features steeply pitched gable roofs and sweeping details giving it an asymmetrical aesthetic. The interior of the home is centered around the shared spaces, creating a grand family home. The two-story living room connects the kitchen, dining, outdoor patios, and upper floor living. Large scale windows match the stately proportions of the home with 8’ tall windows and 9’x9’ curtain wall windows, featuring tilt-turn windows within for approachable function. Black frames and grids appeal to the modern French country inspiration highlighting each opening of the building’s envelope.
