How to Import Your Leads
With Houzz Pro you have the ability to import leads from a file or from your email, saving you precious time that can be put towards winning said leads. Learn how to add a list of leads or quickly forward a lead email with the steps below:
Import Leads from a File
Already have a running list of leads outside of Houzz Pro? Seamlessly transfer them over in a single file to take advantage of our lead management tools. Here's how:
1. Navigate to the Leads section from the left navigation, then select Import From File under the Add Leads button in the top right.
2. In the modal that pops up, download the CSV template linked from multiple spots as "this template" and input your lead data into the appropriate fields. Make sure to follow these tips for a successful import:
- Make sure to include all the columns in this template
- Don't leave the "Lead Name" or "Client Name" columns blank
- List one lead per row
- Avoid duplicate entries
- Make sure to spell the state correctly and don't abbreviate
3. Save your lists in CSV format and add it to the upload modal. If there are any errors in the file you will see a red notification. When your upload is successful, click Next.
4. Review the lead information and adjust the Lead Source if needed. Click Import when you're done reviewing and your leads will be added to the system. You can click into any one to make edits.
Import Leads from Your Email
If you've received email enquiries from potential clients and want to add them as leads to Houzz Pro, you can do so simply by forwarding the email(s).
1. To access the forwarding address, navigate to your Leads section from the left navigation, then select Import From Email under the Add Leads button in the top right.
2. In the pop-up, click Copy Email to copy the forwarding address.
3. Within your email provider (outside of Houzz Pro), paste the copied link in the "To" field of the email you want to forward and click send.
Note: The email must be forwarded from the email address associated with your Houzz Pro account.
4. The new lead will appear in your Leads section shortly, where you can edit and follow up with our lead tools.
