They explain everything very clearly and deliver with integrity and excellence. My wife and I were delighted with the quality and craftsmanship of the work and were equally delighted with the comradery and professionalism that Scott and Kim demonstrated throughout the entire process. We cannot say enough good things about Scott and his company. After a full year of meeting with several other kitchen remodel companies, we had pretty much given up hope on redoing our outdated kitchen. That is, until we found Ackley Cabinets! Scott clearly explained his cabinet "forefront" remodeling system and within 3 weeks of starting, we have a gorgeous new kitchen! We couldn't be happier. Scott is skilled in his carpentry and also has great design ideas. He is meticulous in his work and an all around nice guy to have around. He works with his wife Kim who also assists in all aspects of the project. I really never expected my kitchen could look so good and have such increased functionality without ripping it all out. Highly highly recommend Ackley cabinets if you're looking for a kitchen remodel!

Scott and Kim did a truly great job at our kitchen transformation. Our layout, kitchen top and cabinet boxes were all still in good condition but the panels and doors were getting old and really not our style. Their “Forefront” system is really well thought-through and this results in a beautiful ‘as new’ kitchen, with enormous attention to detail. After discussing all materials, colors and storage solutions the kitchen is measured in painstaking detail. Once everything is made and painted to order it took a smidge over two weeks (as planned, it's a big kitchen!) to have everything old taken off and new hardware installed. New panels, new doors, new toeboards, new drawers, new handles, new crowns, new everything but the box. Everything on time and on budget! We are delighted with the result. And the process to get there was painless too, not in the least because Scott and Kim are such professional, meticulous, trustworthy and overall lovely people. Highly recommended!

If it were possible, I’d give Ackley Cabinet 10 stars. Kim and Scott are the most professional, talented people I’ve ever worked with. They fulfilled every promise and worked absolute magic on my kitchen! What they do is not just a surface facelift. Scott met with me to discuss all the details of the process, find out what I needed/wanted and discussed all the options available. I had a wide variety of style options and the quality of the materials is excellent. Some cabinets were reconfigured into beautiful deep drawers, others were fitted with the most functional, quiet pull outs, and damaged areas were removed and repaired. The crown molding, toe kicks and hardware are absolutely beautiful. Because their process allows them to do much of the planning and prep work offsite, I didn’t have to suffer through endless demolition and lose the use of my kitchen for months. In a very short period of time on site - less than 2 weeks - they completely transformed my kitchen. And there was very little mess, in fact, I think my kitchen was cleaner when they left than when they arrived. After the job was completed, I noticed something was off on one of the doors. No surprise, Kim and Scott came back and took care of the issue to be sure it was correct. Now that’s professional! Like myself, my friends are amazed at the difference. Really, with my new kitchen, I couldn’t be prouder of my home!

I would highly recommend Ackley Cabinet. They completely transformed our kitchen with very little disruption to our daily schedule. They are extremely professional, well organized, and deliver a quality product. The investment in their cabinets not only completely updated the look of our home but also increased the overall value. I would give more stars if I could. Scott & Kim were did beautiful, meticulous work. They were so neat and tidy and I did not feel too much inconvenience and it took only 6 work days. The whole process was so much easier, cheaper and ecologically sound than a full replacement of my cabinets. Scott & Kim absolutely made my old cabinets appear to be brand new. You can't tell this is a refacing from the outside, and even when you open the cabinets, they look new - it's only if you look closely at the back that you can tell the boxes are old. Excellent workmanship and guidance. Fantastic team!

I should come up with some superlatives that haven't been used in other reviews, but they really describe the seamless process of refreshing our kitchen with Ackley Cabinet. From the first interaction with Scott and Kim, they were professional, courteous, punctual, polite, and safe (... Covid). Scott has a "demo box" used to give an amazing in person demonstration of the process. After some quick measurements, we had an estimate. It's that easy. When the install came, it was quick, clean, and tidy. On time and on budget. I can't more highly recommend Ackley Cabinet for your upcoming kitchen renovation!

We highly recommend Ackley Cabinets for your kitchen renovation. Scott and Kim are dedicated professionals who are wonderful to work with. From the first visit with Scott to the end my husband and I were thrilled with their work. Scott spent at least 3 hours with us during our initial visit offering honest opinions and expert advice. Scott and Kim kept their workspace-aka-our kitchen clean every day so that we were able to cook dinner daily. Scott would not allow anything that was not perfect to be installed. Both Scott and Kim are personable and friendly and during this pandemic time work masks in our home all the time. They were a pleasure to have in our home and quite honestly we missed them when the job was done!

Their initial virtual consultation, in-home selection of materials, options and colors, thoughtful suggestions, and detailed cost estimate, helped me select the best design and options for my kitchen. Throughout the project both Scott and Kim were meticulous, prompt, caring and professional. In addition, they provided me with daily updates. Installation was relatively clean, allowing me to use the kitchen in the mornings and evenings. I now have the perfect kitchen, thanks to Ackley Cabinet!

Scott and Kim did an amazing job on our cabinet refacing. He was the only contractor who picked up on some issues that would've been a problem had we gone w/ other companies we contacted for estimates. He was extremely meticulous, very neat and considerate of how the job impacted our daily routine. Scott and Kim "detailed" the job upon completion, cleaned up all dust/debris and left us w/ a "brand new" kitchen which is great! The Ackley process is amazing! We had our cabinets and drawers refaced with their unique inset design. It gave our kitchen a great new look and the quality of the door, drawers and hardware is superb. We love the soft close feature. Scott and Kim transformed our kitchen cabinets and the look andfeel our kitchen - their process is well developed and flawlessly executed from design to delivery to installation (which caused little disruption). There were no surprises throughout the whole process (either in terms of timing, cost, appearance etc) except that the end result exceeded our expectations. We now have a new kitchen look without the hassle of a gut renovation.

First, the quality of craftsmanship is second to none based on restoring options we reviewed prior to hiring Ackley. We even considered total cabinet replacement through a couple of the big box stores, and couldn't be happier with our Ackley choice. Scott and his team are professional, responsive, timely, courteous and clean. Importantly, there were no "contractor surprises" during the process. About 12 years ago we had Ackley Cabinet refinish our kitchen and could not have been happier. The cabinets have stood the test of time and look like the day they were done. We had our washer in the kitchen under the counter. This washer broke and we were forced to replace it. The new one was several inches narrower. I contacted Scott he came out measured and came back with a filler piece to give us our original look. Couldn’t be happier. Again nothing but praise for the workmanship and Scott.

Seventeen years ago we decided to redo our kitchen cabinets. The base cabinets were in great condition but we wanted new doors and drawer fronts. Rather than rip everything out and start from scratch we considered refacing the cabinets. After much research we hired Greg Ackley to do the job. It was the best decision we could have made! He installed beautiful solid wood doors and drawer fronts (NOT laminates) and to this day they are in perfect condition. Recently we bought new wall ovens which ended up leaving a gap in the cabinet below. We immediately called Ackley Cabinets to find that Greg had retired but his son Scott was now running the business. We didn't hesitate to ask for his help. Even thought it was a very small job, Scott came right out and was as gracious and professional as his Dad had been. He did a great job by filling the gap with a hinged panel that allows extra storage for trays. It was a pleasure working with him. We are so happy to see that the Ackley tradition of excellence lives on.

The Ackley team updated my kitchen 10/2012 and put in a new kitchen island 1/2016. Greg and Scott are true professionals with special attention to detail and fine workmanship. After five years Scott was kind enough to come back and touch up a few nicks and chips. Ackley exceeded my expectations and would recommend them for your new kitchen.

After being referred to Ackley Cabinet by a friend, I hired them to change the look of my kitchen. My cabinets went from traditional, honey-stained, overlay doors to modern, white, inset doors, all while keeping the existing cabinet boxes intact. And they did an amazingly beautiful job in only 2 weeks! I could use my appliances and sink during the entire process so it was not as disruptive as one might think. Scott, Brian, and Nelson are professional, organized, talented craftsmen. From start to finish, they were a pleasure to have working in my home. I highly recommend Ackley Cabinet!

Scott Ackley and team updated the kitchen cabinets in my 1970's condo. They were able to change my existing dark oak laminate cabinets to a new white shaker style. They installed new soft closing drawers in some of my bottom cabinets which made it more efficient to store my items. I now have a bright, white kitchen. They were very professional and knowledgeable - able to explain and made suggestions about the kitchen cabinet plan in terms that I understood. Did a nice job. I love my new kitchen and would use them again. I would highly recommend them!

Not enough space in this review to say all the good things about Ackley Cabinets! The highest quality product, design advice, installation process and overall communication- at an amazing price. The product itself is astounding- custom cabinetry to my own specs, designed and affixed to my existing core cabinet boxes. I was already happy with my existing cabinet layout and didn’t want to go to the expense and bother of tearing out my cabinets and installing completely new. Ackley Cabinets gave me custom doors and custom face frames on my existing boxes, with custom finishes, moldings, storage packages….the works! They took me to see a past customer’s kitchen and that sealed the deal- really high quality product, installed with exacting precision. Ackley helped me choose design elements and hardware as well- they have a great design sense. The installation process was very accommodating, allowing for us to use the kitchen the whole time. Constant communication along the way and no surprises with the final cost. Ackley Cabinets gets my highest recommendation.

The Ackley Cabinet team is the whole package - innovative design, excellent craftsmanship, and superior customer service. In my first meeting with Scott, he suggested designing a new bar area to replace an existing, underused desk space. I wasn't sure at first, but we decided to give it a try and it completely transformed our space, making the kitchen feel much larger. What a great idea. The construction process was very well-organized to minimize the impact on our daily life. We have three small children and the workmen were very accommodating and kept the space very clean. The foreman were incredibly attentive to every detail and the final product is custom cut to every curve of our walls and ceiling. Scott and Greg were very responsive to our questions and concerns throughout the process, and remain available even months after the project ended. As project managers, they were committed to the schedule, and brought in additional men to make sure the project was complete on time. They coordinated directly with other subcontractors to ensure that work was never unnecessarily interrupted. We've had several home renovation projects, and this was by far the easiest, most gratifying one on record. The kitchen is truly the heart of our open-layout home, and what a beautiful heart it now is!

I can't say enough about the entire team at Ackley! They were fantastic to work with from start to finish. They have an incredible eye for design and the attention to detail was impeccable. We had our kitchen cabinet doors replaced from a very light-colored wood to an espresso stain. The boxes were in great condition so they were left in place. But you can imagine the work that went into covering the visible sections of the boxes to match the espresso stain on the new doors. It was a time-consuming process but they nailed it and we cannot be happier. Not only was the end result everything we hoped it would be, but throughout the installation process they were respectful of our home and left everything cleaner than it was when they got there. We have a 2-year old and Rob, who installed our cabinets, made sure everything was covered and that no dust or debris came near our daughter's things. I've recommended Ackely to so many people and would absolutely hire them again if we ever have the opportunity.

The people at Ackley did a wonder job replacing the cabinet doors and drawers in my kitchen. Scott's suggestions for finish and hardware were perfect. The Ackley Team--Greg, Scott, and Kim Ackley and Robert Forte (cabinet maker)--were a great pleasure to work with. They guided me through the tricky and daunting process of design--choosing colors, materials, finishes, hardware--with ease. And in pointing out where architectural difficulties might arise, design problems were avoided. When an emergency situation arose--measurements for the counter top-- I called Scott first thing in the morning and he responded right away and immediately came to my house to resolve the situation. The job began and finished on time as scheduled. I must give a shout out to their master craftsman, Robert Forte. His attention to detail, preciseness and deftness of carpentry installing the cabinets, shelves, and drawer boxes has transformed my kitchen. It's like having a showcase room. Robert was always punctual arriving early and leaving in mid afternoon, so I could get my morning and evening tasks done. Access to the kitchen through the work day was easy too. Most important of all Robert kept the work area pristine at the end of each day. All materials were neatly put away and the floor was carefully vacuumed. Robert was a pleasure to have in my home for the three weeks of work. It was like making a new friend.

My kitchen was refaced. Ackley Cabinets exceeded all of my expectations (which were high) of what I hoped to achieve in my cabinetry. The craftsmanship of woodworking is outstanding! The project manager kept me updated at all times. The nightly cleanup allowed me to use the kitchen throughout the process. I am so pleased! Amazing job!
