As I stated in our initial meeting, we needed to get a structural engineer involved to confirm if it was possible to complete the project you asked me to look at. I explained that the cost would be in the $600 range for the initial visit from the engineer and appropriate drawings for the scope of work. Which you and your wife agreed to. You were then to provide the engineer with the original blueprints as well as a direction in which you wanted the design to be. After quite some time had passed with no correspondence from you the engineer billed for a customary site visit of $350. Regarding me not providing you with an estimate, I was unable to complete one with a lack of information. At your request I forwarded you the bill from the engineer. Which I’ve already paid.
