We engaged Alie to design the remodel for our kitchen and master suite. Thanks to Alie's vision and eye for details, we now have a beautiful home that feels like a new model home. Alie was instrumental in helping us select design elements that blended together to make a great design. Thanks to Alie, once we got the design completed, using her recommended crafts people, our project from demo to final inspection was completed in only 4 months. We are very happy with this project. We have received very positive feedback from everyone who has visited: family and friends to neighbors and local real estate agents.

Alie has helped me with two major remodels. She was great to work with and really helped me make decisions that were in keeping with the overall style of our home. I do not have a ton of time to spend on making choices, but she made it easy by narrowing them down and bringing all the samples to me. She works with great contractors and am about to use Alie on another project.

Alie has been a wonderful help in our total house remodel. We remodeled 4 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms totally and other odds and ends. These were done in two steps and each was major. She has a wide/working knowledge of products and building materials needed and we were always pleased with her direction and advice. She was also helpful with colors and style and we are very pleased with the outcome of our projects. In these two projects Alie has been prompt with her responses and very pleasant to work with. She also assisted with finding sub contractors when needed for special areas such as tile and marble.

Alie Zandstra is an exceptional interior designer. My husband and I had been thinking of remodeling our kitchen for almost 25 years. During this time, we visited with many designers and none made me feel totally confident about their ability to tackle our job. When we talked to Alie and she came over to see our space, she really impressed us. She had a real eye for our project- so much so that we decided to do our whole first floor! Alie is easy to work with because she cares about her clients' needs and desires. She set us up with the most amazing construction firm. It was really a pleasure getting to know the guys who were all very talented at their crafts. Whenever there was a question or a problem, Alie was right there to clear things up. Alie helped us pick all the correct appliances, plumbing, electrical and tile choices. It was so easy to see how everything would go together. I cannot recommend Alie Zandstra highly enough. She always sees your project as not only a challenge, but also as a labor of love. I would not hesitate to rely on Alie when we redecorate our second floor. She is truly the consummate professional.

Alie has provided design and consulting services to my wife and I for two projects -- a bathroom addition and most recently a kitchen remodel. We were so happy with her work on the bathroom that we couldn't imagine completing a kitchen renovation without her help. I have had had a lot of experience designing both new construction and remodeling but my wife hasn't. My wife also has a difficult time knowing what she likes without actually seeing it completed. Both of us a very particular but express ourselves much differently. Alie is able to "bridge" our strengths and worked perfectly with both of us. With our bathroom, we only had to give her a few design suggestions and she completed a perfect combination of tile, marble, fixtures and cabinets. In fact, we had a previous design with an architect with whom I had completed numerous projects and Alie was able to suggest changes to the design that were both more functional and elegant. With our kitchen, there was no new square footage, rather an update to existing space. Once again, Alie listened to what we wanted in the finished space and came up with a beautiful design and finishes. I had strong ideas regarding who I wanted to build my cabinets and Alie was able to provide me with a competing comp from another builder and then work with both my contractor and the other subs to ensure a quality project. My wife and I would never consider completing another project without talking to Alie first

I have used her numerous times over the years because of her extensive knowledge of all types of design. Her experience in new construction, as well as remodeling, enables her to work hand in glove with all types of construction professionals, from carpenters, general contractors, and architects. Despite her considerable creativity skills, she is extremely pragmatic. She is an expert also in furniture, furnishings, color selection, and anything I've asked her to do. I have engaged her services for both residential and commercial applications. She is an experienced coordinator, project manager, and expeditor. I can recommend her without reservations.
